Did not want to go as tired from walking around a hot Paris but part of our package. Security is pretty intense so don't take a big bag but you appreciate its for your safety. We did the 7 PM dinner show. Meal is OK but is obviously mass catering standard. The singers during dinner were completely forgettable and I... More

For the price you pay, you should never be forced to strain your neck or hit your knee on the chairs next to you. You also shouldn't be forced to have to stand up every time a waiter passes by. The set up/seating arrangements are unacceptably terrible. I would have given this one star if the show itself wasn't so... More

Lived up to expectations. Particularly enjoyed the water snake act and the comedian TERRY who did act with smaller Ping pong type balls.,audience participation.Very funny.Everything moved right along.Get a better seat when available for a tip.

Show was spectacular well worth outrageous price however seating could be better organised. We were put on a table with others who were leaning over to obstruct our view. Staff overworked and really rude if the drinks option which was shoved in front of us, was declined! Eat elsewhere before the show is my recommendation.

the Moulin Rouge is still one of the best night shows in paris. fabelous french theme music and proffessoinal dancers. its not an erotic show, although dancers are topless, its just the french expressing thier art. we enjoyed it and it was a dinner show food was nice try to be there on time for dinner they stop serving food... When you pay 100 euros per person you have high expectations for the show, something similar to Broadway. The place inside is awesome, you feel like in a real cabaret, but once the show starts you will be waiting for it to gets better, something that won´t happen. In general I think actors should improve their performances, specially guys. If... More

We went for the last show which is at 11pm. Best go early as there is a long queue - this is one the most popular sites and shows visited by tourists! Loved the dazzling costumes, dances and music! The historic setting takes you back to the movie -memorable! Enjoyed the French Can Can, beautiful. And also the acrobatic performances... More

The reservation told us to come way to early, we waited a long time before entering. They seemed confused on how to let people in. They seated us too close to the stage, so it was hard to see all the show. Dust was flying! They didn't even offer us an area of choice, they just put us in seats.... More

We were staying in the Montmartre area and the decision to buy the tickets was very random. The place is very expensive in my opinion and the show doesn't justify the cost... Having said that, this is a landmark thing in Paris ... The set-up and costumes were amazing... Take the seats at the middle or back so that u... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
