It was my birthday celebration last year and definitely a highlight of our Paris trip! We booked the dinner and show option that started at 7pm. We were seated with several other people in a table but that did not bother us, the couple beside us were friendly but we did not talk that much, we were seated at the corner table giving us a good view of the front stage. While having dinner we were serenaded by a couple of singers and a band who performed both in English and French. I know this was not the Feerie show but I enjoyed this dinner entertainment so much as well. The dinner came as starter, main course, then dessert. It came with half a bottle of champagne to share per couple. The dinner tastes ok (not great) but presented very well. I've had better meals in other restaurants in Paris. But the champagne I had here was so good I keep on reminiscing about it. The servers are pretty quick but they get busy serving a lot of tables it is hard to call their attention sometimes. Coming to the Feerie show after the dinner, I did not expect there is a hidden stage right beside me, it suddenly popped up when the show was about to start. The show was in French, while on queue by the reception they offered english translation booklets - but why read when you can just enjoy watching them sing and dance. This is probably my first time watching a cabaret style show and I truly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend booking the dinner and show option for a fuller experience. (Of course when it is safe to do so). I went last year in October 2019 (the option is giving me till November 2019 only).

We visited the area where the Moulin Rouge is located, but did not actually go inside. We went there during day time and it seemed to be closed and rather quiet. The building itself looks interesting. It is a historic site having been founded in the late 19th century and having had a profound influence on the entertainment industry over time. Worth a visit during appropriate times!

This is a must see in Paris especially for photo ops!! Night or day, take some pictures of this Historic Theatre! Close to Montmartre in the Paris district of Pigalle on Boulevard de Clichy in the 18th arrondissement, it is marked by the red windmill on its roof. The closest métro station is Blanche. Moulin Rouge is best known as the birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance. Today, Moulin Rouge is a tourist attraction, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. The club's decor still contains much of the romance of fin de siècle France.

This was a must when we visited Paris and we have always wanted to go! We dressed up as we assumed there was a dress code however not as strict as you would think as long as you show up smart casual... although it’s always nice to make an effort for these things. The show was wonderful and we had central front seating. At the time we shared a table with another couple, but that was fine. A huge variety of entertaining acts. The show was wonderful in every way and could not be faulted. The only reason for it not getting 5 stars is the gentlemen that seated us was actually quite rude and arrogant. Especially when I asked for champagne he stated it wasn’t free, implying I couldn’t afford it. If it’s on offer and someone requests it give the customer what they want, especially if you’re front of house. All the other staff we encountered were professional and friendly, what you would expect from an establishment such as the Moulin Rouge.

This is not as great as it sounds.. I went there with my wife, we had tickets booked in advance and had half a bottle of champagne included in the ticket. It was a night show. What we liked. the dancers were good overall. the acts were performed well. But there are no good memories that we share of the event because the overall experience was very poor. reasons to follow. Starting from the beginning - There are a lot of people like a lot, So U'll have to get in line and wait for like an hour to get seated, be prepared - As soon as your turns some someone will usher you to your table and imagine a big hall with a stage and the tables and chairs cover every small corner of the hall each and every sq inch of floor has tables. - You wont get a preference which table to sit. - There is a high chance that you may be facing opposite the stage where the acts are performed - Don't expect any personal space- people are everywhere. on one table they will fit as many people as they can like cattle in a stable. - The server didn't get us any champagne even after paying for it,, - forget the champagne there was no water, - servers are in such a hurry that they don't listen, - I was sitting right next to the stage but facing opposite of that so I had to watch the whole show looking behind and by the end of the show I had a crooked neck. :) One TIP for Indians honeymooners, there are a ton of things to do in Paris and If you are like me who would prefer some quite time with your partner just go sit besides Eiffel or just roam around the city or walk on siene banks. This can be avoided, we have kingdom of dreams in a similar concept in Gurgaon India.
