Several years ago I chanced upon the Annouk Goutal store in the 6th, and was overwhelmed with sincere service and amazingly original scents. I wrote a review at that time because the experience really stood out, and now I write another. Then, I bought my daughter a gift, and this time I returned to buy myself something. Again, friendly and knowledgeable personal service. The young woman gave her time in a way a little beyond expected. So lovely. And the range of scents are really original and interesting. I made my choice. And without doubt, will one day return again. My advice...forgo a bland department store, and head to this small and intimate boutique!

I love love love Annick Goutal perfumes! I try to hit her shop whenever we are in Paris. The women that work in these shop are so knowledgeable about fragrance. I just tell them what I like in a fragrance and voila the perfect perfume scent for me. There little perfume boutiques are all so pretty. There not inexpensive by any means, but if you want to leave Paris with a special French perfume this is worth it. profiter de la bonne vie!

I visited on a rainy day. The scents were varied and some reminded me of Hermes and some of Jo Malone. I wasn't in the market for a perfume but I took the card nonetheless. The smell is devine and made my luggage smell nice. The saleswoman was very kind even though my French is awful. The store in Le Merais is adorable.

We were drawn to this store by the alluring fragrance that traveled down the street a few doors. We took a deep inhale inside and fell in love. The perfumes are light and natural botanicals and the sweet lady who assisted us was amazing got knowledgeable and gave us lots of good information such as putting perfume on your brush and a lying it to your hair at the base of your neck. She was so charming and real...the kind of person that I would have asked her to go to dinner with us to get to visit with her longer. I suggest Rose pompon...I will wear and think of Paris!
