Went here and payed money to go into the park. thought it was all inclusive and that one didn’t have to pay for the rides once in the park. However, found out that it costed €4 per ride and €8 for the more advanced rides such as the “rollercoasters”. Was not told of this. This is a terrible scam, am not paying nearly ten euros for one ride. The rides are not even enjoyable or exciting and for small children not worth ten euros. The gift shop incredibly expensive as well. The only thing that made up for this is the gardens themselves they were beautiful. Don’t go here it is a scam and a waste of time and money.

Get the all inclusive tickets so you can go on every ride you feel like and as many times as you want. It really pays off. The rides are fun and varied, the park is pleasant, the staff is friendly. Highly recommended, especially for warm days.

This was such a fun break after days of hostorical sight seeing! We traveled with a 9 and 15 year old. The teen didn't ride anything (rides are for younger kids) but she enjoyed the shady paths and relaxing environment. We made friends with some peacocks and ate ice cream. The 9 year old boy had a blast! He rode all the old fashioned & fun rides with no wait at all. It felt like an authentic French kid experience, far away from the crowded tourist areas of Paris. Highly recommended! We loved it.

I didnt go to do any rides - too old - but what I saw was superb. The rides well organised and great fun. I went to visit the miniature railway which runs out of the park. A very good long ride through the park and woods and excellent fun. An extra payment but minimal.

The current state is such you shouldn’t go unless you have very young children and even though maybe still not. Everything for children above 5 years old is closed until May 1, 2018 but this won’t stop the entry staff charging you entry and selling you an expensive book of tickets that are only valid until the end of June and which they don’t refund you after buying even though not used.
The park is run by LVMH who clearly have great skills in selling excessively priced handbags and other trinkets,so abusing jardin visitors is just business as usual.
Oh and by the way on a pleasant Saturday morning in January no snacks were open, only 5 merry go rounds for up to 5 or 6 year olds, a shop selling classic junk and one grumpy information desk person, who didn’t like being disturbed from reading her book.
The best aspect though is the notice on emergency services who in case of a heart attack or health problems can be contacted by phone and who will arrive rapidly. All good except they only start work at midday...Clearly LVMH are only used to their clients having heart attacks in the afternoon.

The park may claim to be open all year, but what they mean is that there is someone there to take your money all year. Once they took our 67 euro, we then went in to discover a ghost town of empty tired old looking fairground rides with no one to work any of them and our kids sat patiently waiting in unmanned rides asking miserably why nothing was working. The show was also cancelled. I think many of the reviewers are confusing charming and old fashioned with dated and depressing. The only entertaining part was when a photographer suddenly appeared and offered to take our photo which was funny given how depressed our family looked to think anyone might want a memento of the occasion - apparently they had enough staff to supply someone to do that but not to work any of the rides! We got our money back after a twenty minute wait but wasted 20 euro there and back travelling and a full morning of our holiday. Total rip off and a load of rubbish.

During my recent trip to Paris with my children, I arranged to meet and have coffee with an old friend. Unfortunately, en route to meet him a thief attempted to remove my purse from my backpack in a Metro station. Luckily the robbery was thwarted due to the zip sticking and my feeling a tug. My friend recommended Jardin d'acclimation as a place to spend the afternoon and I was unfortunately unable to thwart this second robbery of the day. And I did feel seriously mugged off when I left. From payment on entry, the extortionate train ride, to the rip off fairground, all the activities from climbing to horseriding that cost more Euros...it was ridiculous! I literally had no money left at home time! There are free playgrounds, water parks and zipliners and I think its best to stick to those. Having spent the five previous days at Eurodisney, by comparison, this place looked tired and sad...the guidebooks suggest avoiding this entire neighbourhood after dark, I would suggest avoiding this park at any time of day!

We visited two days after Disneyland - see my review - and found this to be a better option (once you find it -my one criticism is that it is not well sign-posted from Sablons metro).
Two major advantages - first, each person pays around 3 euros for admission then it is about the same for each ride. But, unlike Disney where the admission was over fifty pounds each regardless of how few rides you have, this is 'pay as you go'. If one person does not ride, they do not pay. And second, there are a lot of free activities - eg the Distorting Mirrors at the entrance, the Jungle Frames, the Water Park, all very popular.
One of my rides with the accompanying child was on the Chinese Dragon. We were the only customers then but my screams (and a bruised elbow) delighted her greatly and led to a massive queue building up for the next one!....We also enjoyed the Horses Carousel and the canal ride which was relaxing but rather tame, nice for little children. Otherwise the child (10) could go on many rides alone e.g. " the tea cups" and the Perspex Maze which gives the non- participant a break of at least half an hour but can upset/frustrate some kids big or small!......
One small disappointment was that the advertised "ponies and camels" did not exist and then later turned out to be three Dromedaries demanding two tickets per ride which however never materialised due to a British type rain shower when the Dromedaries apparently must shelter. There were delightful miniature goats, seep, donkeys and ( less pleasingly ) two brown bears - well cared for but subject to any food thrown at them by the people.
There are a surprising number of rides and plenty to do for a good half day. Lots of places for sitting down and an intriguing (quite empty ) pigeon rescue tower.
The food is not bad snack type and a third of the price of Disney. I left my small casual bag behind and it was handed in - that impressed me. Worth a visit with children up to about 12.

This lovely garden features many attractions for children, such as amusement rides, pony rides, farm animals, children's bicycle rental, a paddling pool, a giant aviary with 200 birds and the list goes on. It is definitely a nice place to head for those visiting Paris with children. I saw many youngsters there during my recent visit, and all were obviously having a good time.
I entered the garden with my 14 E admission ticket to the new, amazing building designed by Frank Gehry that holds Fondation Louis Vuitton. The garden allows visitors many perfect vantage points to observe the modern building's impressive architecture, which includes 12 massive glass sails. For those uninterested in visiting the building's interior but wanting a closer look at the exterior, I recommend simply paying the admission fee for the garden (3 E for ages 3 and above; 1.50 E for seniors).
As part of the building's construction at the southern edge of the garden, landscape architects reconfigured and extended 19th-century paths to blend the structure with its natural setting. This is the most successful effort that I have seen in Paris to ensure that a modern structure does not strike a dissident chord with its surroundings.
After gawking at the building from many angles, I explored the whole garden, admiring such attractions as the Korean Garden, a lake with boats, a traditional Japanese house and a recently restored Second Empire pigeon loft. Everything was clean and well maintained. When I got to the animal area, I stopped for a while to look at the llamas.
Sharing the large enclosure was an animal I had never seen before. It resembled a donkey but was as big as a horse and displayed a shaggy coat that gave the impression of molting. The head showed off huge ears, a white nose and a white ring around each eye. When I called to the creature, it approached the fence and stared at me. Each time, I said something, its left ear dropped to a horizontal position. Posted information signs only gave details about llamas.
Intrigued, I checked on-line later and learned that this is a Poitou donkey from the Poitou region of France, 300 miles southwest of Paris. The animal dates back to the Middle Ages when it was used in breeding large working mules. Because the need for such mules eventually ended, there were only 44 Poitous left worldwide in 1977. Efforts began to save them from extinction and now there are hundreds worldwide.
I noted many places to eat in the garden, ranging from snack bars to restaurants. There is even an Angelina Tea Room.
The garden can be reached via Metro line 1, exiting at station Les Sablons. There is also a small open train that goes from Porte Maillot though the woods to the garden.

My husband and I took our 1 year old daughter to the Jardin while we were in Paris, and all three of us had a nice time. Very reasonably priced to enter, as well as for the rides. We took Le Petit Train to and from the Metro station. I would definitely recommend taking the train as it is a fun experience and a pleasant ride. We rode on the Enchanted River, which was great for having a little kid. Our daughter liked looking at all the birds and animals, as well as watching herself in the distorting mirrors. She was too little to ride most of the other rides and for the puppet show. The food was only so-so at the cafe, but we did have a lovely crepe at Le Petit Ferme. A nice place to go with smaller children.

For two adults and children aged 6 and 9 would you recommend a day pass each?
Or day passes for the kids and a book of tickets for attractions?
Can these be bought at the gate? Thanks

I think the day passes are very good value and you only have to go on 6 rides to make it worthwhile. And there are enough rides to keep you all amused. Double check the prices as they may have gone up. And yes it’s easier to buy on the day. We bought day passes in advance and then had to walk far to customer services to get a special wrist band. But, if you do it in the door, it’s instant. And there wasn’t a discount to buying In advance.
