Wonderful park in Paris

This park is hidden away, we accidentally found during walking around and we are glad we found it as this is so beautiful and amazing place, full of green trees and bushes

It was a nice day so I decided to run to the Parc des Buttes Chaumont from the Pont Neuf. I made a bee- line and crossed the Canal Saint-Martin and found the park. It has a running and walking trail that skirts its border, as well as many internal paths. Most were nice crushed rock but some of those... More

We visit this place whit our baby in stroller and it was easy to see everything. It's a nice parc and the view to Sacre Coeur Basilica is excellent.

If it was in another city, it may be a good place but there is so much to see I'm Paris that this park is simply not worth visiting in my opinion.

This park is not in the traditional tourist circuit, but is well worth a visit, even in a cold winter day.

Around the parc there are streets you don't even realise you're in Paris, the Parc is just different then the rest, very beautiful and nice atmosphere.

A fantastic park that offers unique views of the Paris skyline, and can also be a refuge from the endless hustle and bustle of Paris.

A great place to go to get away from all the tourists. More of a locals parc. Great local neighborhood.

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
