this is the final resting place of Napolean Bonaparte as well as a few other notable French leaders, worth a visit but remeber to see the rest of the grounds.

Napoleon is buried here, so if you are a fan, you need to come and pay homage. Me, not so much. It's a big impressive church.

The presentation is quite spectacular, in large part because it borders on sparse. Obviously, Napolean's tomb is the central focus here, but it is not the only reason to visit.

Located within walking distance from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, about 15 minutes. Why visit? The burial place of Napoleon is cool and historical. The sarcophagus is huge. Love history then this is for you.

He may have spent the last part of his life in exile, but in death he remains an emperor. Originally built as a hospital and home for war veterans, Les Invalides is probably most famous for the great tomb of Napoleon, which sits underneath the...More

Wonderful dome church built in 1694 and located next to the hotel des invalides. The dome is 107 metres high and was first gold gilded in 1715. Napoleon's tomb was brought in 1840, some 19 years after his death.

You have to go out and around to the entrance in front. Well worth the walk though. There is also a nice snack bar and gift shop on the way around. Hope you enjoy the trip.
