Convenience in a building

A good selection of brands for me and my family. Rather than finding individual stores outside. Conveniently located. Able to do tax refund all at the same place.

From the outside it is nice especially in the holiday season, but the mall itself is average on the inside.

The upscale interior restaurant has an enormous breathtaking stained glass dome ceiling. You've got to see it to believe it. The rooftop Deli-cieux cafe is cafeteria style service with the best view in Paris. You can see from Montmarte to Invaides, to Eiffel Tower. Large table can be shared by several parties. Grab a light meal and/or a split of... More

Nothing great about the place. Some nice Christmas displays. After spending about a 100 euros I learned two things. 1. It takes 175 euros to get VAT tax form and they charge 1.5 euros to use the bathroom.

We just stopped in to take a look around, not really looking for anything special. It was about 72 degrees out side but a warm 80 degrees inside, and a lot of people were wearing heavy coats, amazing to me. Most of the sales staff were not interested in us and were not helpful. They do charge 1.5 Euro for... More

Visited today, some of the shop attendants were uninterested but many were very helpful. This enormous store is undergoing 5 floors of renovation & they charge 1.5 euros to use the "toilettes"! They have the inside temperature set at about 26 degrees so as you nearly melt & just want to escape! Very expensive...

The rooftop view is located on the 9th floor of printemps beauty, one of 3 buildings. When I went most of the floors were closed in between 2 and 6. You can take an escalator or elevator up. When you enter the roof, there is also a fast casual cafe but you don't need to eat there in order to... More

I don't really care about the shop itself, but the panoramic rooftop views over the Paris skyline are spectacular. I would go there just to look at the view. I didn't eat there: it's self service cafeteria style, but we bought a drink and sat there soaking it all up. Highly recommend going here.

It's hard to have a bad meal in Paris, but this is one place that achieves it. The views are lovely from the terrace on the top, but the food we had was mostly second-rate, except for a salmon salad which was pasty, chalky and inedible. So sad. The store is being renovated, which makes getting through it a challenge.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
