This large park in the 15th Arrondissement has both an intricately designed formal section as well as a more relaxed informal section, both filled with a beautiful collection of flowers and plants.

The balloon ride was great! Maybe go in the morning to avoid wind closure
We took a balloon ride this morning. There was absolutely no line (Wednesday at 9:30osh). The balloon closes if there is wind. It seems like it is more likely to close in the afternoon, so going early is probably best. We loved the quiet ride, and great views. The park is beautiful as well.

    Fascinated by Parc Andre-Citroen
The fabulous thing about Parc Andre-Citroen is the feeling one gets that Jacques Tati is about to come around the corner and switch the fountains off. It is a modernist garden in a very 1950s or 60s sense full of quirky planting and optimism. The resident hot air balloon adds to the atmosphere of informality and fun - it's the perfect place for children on a hot summer's day. Fans of Alice and Wonderland will be delighted by the many avenues and sloping water channels - a garden where one could follow the White Rabbit for a long time. The PAC is an arcadian dream for a contemporary urban city, it reinterprets the traditional idyllic garden without ever becoming a brutalist or merely fashionable vision. I can't help feeling that the Thames Barrier Park has been inspired by Parc Andre Citroen - what a shame that it has neither the interest, subtlety, nor the ambition of the latter. Then again, it may not be finished yet so perhaps London will get a public space as wonderful as this - one can only hope.....

I was actually hoping to find a Citroen museum but this park was a nice surprise. Located right on the seine it is broken into many little areas with different vegetation. The large area in the center has a hot air balloon that is tethered by a cable so you can ride up for a great view of the city without drifting off.

There's a small café on one side of the park. This is also a good place to take children as there are quite a few little play area is nestled among the trees and bushes.

Overall I highly recommend it if you enjoy parks.

Multi level park with many interesting features. Types of plants are well marked and if you have trouble with the French language signs simply utilize the free WiFi to log onto the parks web site. Balloon was not in operation when we visited due to wind but it takes passengers up 450 meters, the cost is 12 euros for adults . We plan to go back in a week or so when I expect even more plants will be in bloom.

The Parc André Citroën is located on the site of the former Parisian Citroën factory. Opened in 1992, with a surface area of 14 hectares, it is one of the newest parks in the capital. This futuristic site, designed by renowned landscapers and architects (Alain Provost, Gilles Clément, Patrick Berger, Jean-Paul Viguier and François Jodry), offers a beautiful view of the Seine and is the only green space in Paris that opens directly onto the river. The park is divided into three themed areas: the Jardin Blanc, the Jardin Noir and the big central park area. Visitors can discover numerous exotic trees and rare plants, two impressive hothouses and many other surprises. The various facilities at the park are great for relaxation or a source of entertainment. Children can take advantage of the ball-games area, ping-pong tables, spring-based toys and toboggans, not to mention the tethered air balloon offering a 150m high ride for children and adults (subject to weather conditions).

We had read about this park and went to find it this morning. A 2.3km walk from our hotel. Was well worth the walk, park is beautifully maintained a d the tethered balloon trip for 12 euro gave amazing views ofParis from 150m in the sky. It is o ly a 10min trip but great fun. The water fountain in the park is amazing and we had fun in the water.

If you look for a place in Paris but far away from the city's stressful energy, please consider this park. Its unique layout will allow you a large variety of activities, depending on what you are looking for.

Families with children generally gather themselves around the vast central body of herb or near the fountains. It's perfect for a refreshment during warm summer days !

For people who would like to be in a more quiet place, the arcades will definitely satisfy your needs. Plus you can make some cool photos in the shadows of the trees. Actually, it is quite common to encounter some Instagramers willing to have a cool profil picture :)

For groups of friends or lovers, the artificial bamboo island is the right spot to... Do what groups of friends or lovers do...

There is also a wide variety of plants and trees, and even two big greenhouses dedicated to tropical plants.

My advice is to spend some time wandering in all the corners of this park. You can easily plan a day full of activities there !

One of Paris' most recently-constructed parks. "Parc André Citroën" was built on the former site of the Citroen factory in 1992. Located in the 15th Arrondissement. It’s close to the Beaugrenelle center.
It is an excellent example of modern park design. It's a unique walk and a wonderful way to see a different, elevated perspective of the city. Very impressive use of plant material. The park is clean, very well-manicured and with ponds and ducks roaming freely. Some open spaces and some interesting water treatments. Lots of park benches and beautiful bamboo woods in the northern part. The weather balloon ride gives you a panoramic view of Paris. This place is for fun for all ages. Free toilets too. Definitely worth a visit!

A splendid architecturally designed public garden. One of the finest urban parks. Designed, with a wide variety of "spots", thematic gardens, sampling out nature in its various aspects.
We visited the garden on August's hottest day, almost 40 degrees centigrade. The fountain and its changing jets was full of people enjoying the waters, like the trocadero, on the same day. Others picnicked under the trees' shades. This parc should be visited in spring or autumn, to get the best impression.
We enjoyed the sky ride on the hot air baloon, and thanks to the nice weather, we had the fantastic view on Paris from 150 meters. We were on the same "environment" with the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower, the Sacre Coeur and the two "Buttes" of Paris. There are two Metro stops nearby, Javel Andre Citroen, and Balard,
The Poetry fans will prefer the Javel stop, since it is located by the Mirabeau Bridge, a perfect spot to recite Guillaume Apollinaire's poem.

Great place to do a picnic or to bring children to play.

You will be greeted by a huge atmospheric weather balloon (gigantic) in the middle of the park. This is surrounded by a 1.5 metre waterway (there abouts) where children bring their toy boats to play with.

You can see the top of the Eiffel tower from this park (it is very close to it). France TV building is almost next to this park too.

There is a children playground and a couple of ping pong tables (bring you own racquets and ball). There is a cafeteria next to the big balloon with the usual drink offerings (no alcohol) and quick snacks.

Visited here while in the neighbourhood. Wouldn't have made a special trip but was pleasantly surprised. Modern and large but well layed out and landscaped with working and ornamental gardens. The new version of a Paris urban park. Lots of activities for families and obviously well used by regulars. Air balloon rides with soaring views over Paris would be a treat. Water features for the kids. Somewhat bland architecture and surrounding towers but the place woks well in this environment and was a great revitalization of the old Citroen factories on the site. Still quite close to the Eiffel Tower for tourists who want to expand their visit into the new Paris where people actually live.
