Knowing that this museum was still under renovation, went just to see the Thomas Houseago sculptures and paintings. A relatively small show but breathtaking. The venue is perfect for his "supersized" works. He even created a piece just for the MDM space. Can't wait until...More

The visit was free of charge which is a very good point I didn’t like very much the artists exposed. I recommend to go instead to the Pompidou / Beaubourg Centre

I absolutely adore contemporary art, so a visit to this museum was essential. An added bonus is that the architecture of the building itself is truly a form of art.

This venue had some good reviews and we were keen to attend. Not cheap to enter the gallery was undergoing work for a change of exhibition. Hence we saw very little despite paying extra for the full access. The works are varied with some quite...More

Good afternoon, We apologize if your visit at the MAM was not pleasant. Due to the renovation, the permanent collection is reduced. After the reopening of the museum, you will be able to enjoy a new restaurant as well as a new library. All the...More

This was a really poor experience - the permanent collection was not available to view because of reconstruction work. There was no prior information on the web site only an indication that there was a change of access door. This is a shocking failure of...More

We first saw the temporary Zao Wou-Ki, L'espace est silence exhibition. A true delight. Then went on to see some of the permanent collection (a large part of the museum is closed for renovation and judging by the entrance it bitterly is needed). Beautiful collection...More

I visited this museum for the UNhyped Zao Wou-Ki exhibit. The museum layout for the special exhibit was surprisingly good to admire the late work of this renowned artist. Spacious space with high ceilings to accommodate the large artworks of special exhibits. If you don't...More

If you have visited the mainstream museums of Paris, then this should be the next in line. There are no queues and the access is really easy (even if there are currently some constructions taking place). The access to the permanent collections is free (everyday...More

We went to see Zao Wou-Ki, a contemporary abstract Chinese-French painter. It was a really beautiful exhibition, impressively large rooms. My lesson is: avoid the famous names but go for perhaps lessor known but impressive artists and learn something new.
