Last September while in Paris my French cousin suggested we avoid the crowds at the Quai d'Orsay & visit the Musee Marmottan Monet which holds a brilliant private collection featuring all the famous Impressionist. It was truely a feast for the eye.

This beautiful display of Claude Monet’s work made my day. It claims to be the largest collection of his work anywhere & it was great.

Sorry, we didn’t buy that ticket so don’t know the answer. But we’ve been previously to Giverny and it’s definitely worth visiting, both for the garden and for the interior of the house.
