'The Best View of the Eiffel Tower'

When I was in Paris for the very first time during April 2019, most parts of where Eiffel Tower was based (like the grounds and pathways leading to Eiffel Tower) were barricaded due to ongoing renovations. As a photography enthusiast and frantically searching for a perfect spot to capture some shots of the Tower, a few locals suggested to me this site/area. Upon further researching, they do refer to the same place which is namely, Trocadero or Trocadero Gardens (Jardins du Trocadéro).

Once you arrived here, you begin to realise why some of the most beautiful shots of Eiffel Tower and almost any bridal/model shoot in Paris are taken place here. This place offers one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful view of Eiffel Tower and Paris.

Tips/Advice:-

1) Try to be here as early as you can before the bulk of the crowd gathered. I was here right when the sun was about to rise and there were a few bridal and model shoot already happening simultaneously. It definitely got a lot busier as time passed

2) Nearest Metro Station would be Trocadéro.

3) Definitely bring along your camera for some banger shots. Try to dress comfortably with good walking shoes as various scenic attractions are readily nearby as you made your way past the Gardens.

Due to the risk of a terror attack the road does not go under the Eiffel Tower and the area is controlled. From the top of Trocadaro you can view down over the fountains, across the Seine and around. The hoardings are still in place to control access and the road passes along the River but not under the Tower. It provides more space and ability to view the Tower, River and fountains so the road being blocked is in someways a blessing. The security als limits access to the base of the Tower. There is the gardens beyond and the River has a mooring point for many of the tourist/sightseeing boats and is a good point to travel from. In tourist season and weekends the crowds are large but all provide part of the colour and gaiety.

an exotic view of the beautiful "Eiffel Tower". A postazl card In this high place of the Universal show, two followed one another, the first in late 18's , the second in mid 19's. it would seem fairly dispensable to view, except for the very attractive treasure it houses. For visitors passing by, it is the locus to a take selfie with the lap in the heart for others, it is a site of proof, both public / private, & a nice outlook with the cupola of the Invalides in the substance. From there to ramble about, I personally prefer, the edges of the Seine so far!

This is the best place for a picture perfect shot of Eiffel tower. The garden and the tiled floor both give a great view. We get a complete view of the tower along with the clouds on the top and grass/tiles at the foot, which makes it a wonderful view. Don't miss but be careful, it will be too crowded and there are plenty of photo shoot sessions going on all the time.

This is a beautiful and romantic place. You can have a picnic during the day, but you must also at night, it is even more beautiful.
I also visited the Eifel Tower and the ticket is not very expensive. I recommend the tour!
The view of the city is wonderful!

We had problems getting here due to the transport strike. So, we went early on Sunday January 12th. Surprisingly still many people around. Also lots of pushy 'sales people' selling cheap wares like imitation Eiffel Tower etc. But don't let that deter You.

This is the best place for viewing The Tower, as one has an unobstructed view from here. Also, the day we were there we had the chance to also view lots of brides-to-be having their photo shoot taken here.

Might I also mention if You are hungry while facing the Tower? Turn around and Le Wilson is to Your right - excellent restaurant!

So glad we made the effort to come here. But looking at the photos on here, it must be spectacular in Summertime when the fountains are in full flow.

Great excuse to come back!

Especially at night with the Eiffel Tower light it can get really busy. It is very dark over their so make sure to be safe and hold onto with whom ever you are with. When I was there a mother lost her son and every one was looking out for him.

I have been there 3 times during my visit to Paris and I can only say HOW DIRTY it was. Giant rats everywhere and beer bottles scattered all around. Paris should do better to recover minimum safety and hygiene measures to offer the great experience they sell to the world.

Right across the Eiffel Tower on top of the big square there is this huge space that people go to take pictures. It is indeed a great spot at any time of the day and night. If you don't want people in your picture you have to arrive early in the morning.

Metro station near by is Trocadero.

Free to visit and to take pictures! A must to go and see in Paris.

this plaza is between two museums (Architecture and Marine) on the top part (where you want to get to for your photos) with a large reflecting pool on the Seine side. There food vendors there as well as lots of Souvenier sales people - these and the view bring lots of people. This does casue you to have to jockey for positon for that perfect photo but it is worth it.
