The tour was very pleasant and efficiently organised, including the glass blowing demonstration, and I would thoroughly recommend it. What really made it stand out was our guide, Alice. Very few people are at the same time highly competent, passionate, and able to convey that passion in an engaging way. Alice is such a person. I can't possibly imagine someone better suited to help discover Venice and its lagoon. She likes to joke that she talks too much, and indeed she does have many stories and anecdotes in stock, including from her own (extensive) experience in Venice. The thing is, not one story of hers is boring or vague. She knows exactly what she is talking about (and much more, which is obvious when she answers questions), and she also knows exactly how to capture her audience's attention. Hats off Alice!

Had a wonderful tour of the Vatican, St. Peter’s and the museum. Anna was a wonderful guide, thank you! The Vatican is allowing too many people in at one time, so the visit feels rushed. You barely enter a room and the guard is yelling “Keep moving!!” at you. Until the Vatican changes rules on numbers, I think this is just a fact of life. But the tour was wonderful and Anna was very knowledgeable.

Sam was an amazing guide! We did a tour of the Paris Catacombs with special access to restricted areas. Sam was super knowledgeable about the Catacombs and Paris history. She managed to keep the group engaged with the tour by asking questions and making sure everyone was included in the experience. The restricted area access was well worth the price. I can’t say enough positive things about Sam; she really made the tour fun while also keeping in consideration the Catacombs’ purpose as a resting place for Parisians. I recommend this tour for anyone interested in history.

Our private day tour in Aswan exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Super Mo, was phenomenal—his storytelling brought the history of the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple to life. We also enjoyed the incredible views from the High Dam and the boat ride on the Nile. The restaurant stop was a highlight, offering delicious and authentic Egyptian cuisine. Traveling in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle made the trip very comfortable. If you love history, culture, and stunning views, this tour is a must!

Nice tour -- long, but well-paced. Both of the guides, Thelma and Ash, were very knowledgeable about the history of France, the rise of Hitler, and the events of D-Day. I recommend the tour to anyone who is in Paris and has just one day to visit this memorial site.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. It was informative and eye opening. Traveling by bus was perfect and allowed us to sleep off some of our jet lag. The lunch provided was delicious and one of my husband's favorite meals during our trip to Paris. The cider stop was also memorable but most humbling was our visit to the beaches and the cemetery. We also enjoyed seeing the countryside from the bus windows. Our guides Sam and Thelma were delightful and gave great information. W would definitely recommend this tour.

We booked Eiffel Tower Guided tour with access to the summit and Seine champagne cruise through booking.com
The first part Eiffel Tower tour visit was wonderful, with a very good and very nice guide Sid.
Once we headed to the Seine cruise location the trouble started. At the ticket validation booth the boy first told us that the time for the cruise was 12.30pm and now it is 2pm and we have missed the cruise. After I showing and clarifying that 12.30pm is for the Eiffel Tower visit and there is no set time for the cruise, he told us that there are no seats for today, for this tour and to come tomorrow. It is explicitly written in the reservation that it is only valid for the day of the reservation. After I read this to the booth boy, he told us to wait. After about another 15-20 minutes he gave us tickets for the 3pm cruise. We lined up at the queue and a staff girl came and told us that they would give us one free soft drink each because the sailing conditions were bad and the cruise would be half. I understand that, but there was no question of champagne at all.
From 15 to 15.50 we stood and waited in line because there was some problem with the boat and the staff was trying to fix it. We didn't wait more and our cruise didn't happen, but we just wasted 2 hours clearing the organization and waiting in line. Never again with City Wonders.

City Wonders provided a Very good tourist guide to the Eiffel Tower. City Wonders offered a good price for value to visit the eiffel tower with my family of two adults and one six years old child. Precise info was given before the day of the visit. We found the person from the company waiting for us exactly as it was described in the ticket. Natalia Makarova was our tourist guide and she was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. The highlight was that we visited the top (last floor!) and we did during the centenary celebration of Gustave Eiffel! It was an incredible experience and we recommended to families with young children.

I booked this tour in advance online and prepaid over $500 for seven people. When we arrived on the day of the tour at the Louvre, we had been combined into a large group and were told that our tour guide didn't show up. As this was extremely disappointing since I scheduled a tour for a maximum of 10 people, we decided to not attend the tour and go it on our own. The guide who had been assigned to this large group told us that she was sick and was coughing into the microphone, and was extremely hard to understand through the cheap little headsets we were given. I contacted City Wonders regarding this and asked for a full refund and was told I would be given a 30% refund. I would be cautious before booking this tour with them.

What is the difference between "skip the line" and "Priority access with Host" ? Also is an elevator used for both of these types of tours to the 2nd level?

No difference from what I can see. Whilst we were in low season and not many tourists we always were ushered straight in past any waiting lines of other tourists.
No elevators.

My tour was a bit larger, if I remember correctly. I think it was 8-10 people. The tour was absolutely fantastic and incredibly informative. However, as the previous post mentioned you definitely need to get there early, or be prepared to battle the crowds!

Yes. They will get you straight in. Although .. you will have to wait in some queues at the Eiffel Tower. Our tour guide said that due to terrorist attacks everyone has to wait in the same security gate. There is no option to skip this .. it doesn’t take very long to go down though. Better safe then sorry!
