Meeting place was easy and our guide Bruno came on time. He had introduced and explained the history of the places we have visited in Montmarte. Although they have advertised as free walking tour, the contents of this tour was of good quality. Finally we ended this short tour at Sacre Coeur. Tipping may not be a norm in Europe... More

New Years Day 2016, and there was Adele - in her bright pink vest - waiting to guide us to some Paris Landmarks on the Right Bank of the Seine. After a warm welcome we headed off. It was a brilliant way to start both our holiday in Paris and the New Year. Adele's knowledge of history and culture, coupled... More

We did the Landmarks of Paris tour on what ended up being a pretty rainy day. Our guide, Florent, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and entertaining and gave us good advice for after the tour. The tour itself was okay though many of the landmarks are not actually visited, just seen from afar. Would do a tour with this company... More

We did the Montmartre tour in the morning and Le Marais tour in the afternoon. I liked both - maybe the Montmartre one a bit more. Good introduction to neighbourhoods. I would recommend them.

My husband and I had one day in Paris (January 19, 2016) and decided to do the Montmarte walking tour with Discover Walks (based upon their good reviews.) We chose the 2:30 PM walk and were at the meeting point early. No guide ever showed up. Another couple was also waiting with us. They had done the Notre Dame tour... More

I was visiting Paris with my husband and Aunt and thought the walks would be a good way to show them the highlights of the city. Our first tour was of the Left Bank with Florent. It was wonderful! Florent was knowledgeable and very personable. The tour was a blend of historical facts and insider tips about how to make... More

Montmartre tour with Marion (I think) was wonderful. Really enjoyed food tips and local tips which we used during our stay. Gave us such better orientation to Parisian life. Highly recommend ( just bring umbrella as we got very wet at then end of tour!). Excellent guide.

We now have taken 5 of these walks, revolutionary France. Hemingway's paris. Two marais tours. Montmartre. Each was lovely. Also very inexpensive. From facts such as how Paris reacted to the great fire of London by revising its building practices, to the person who perfected the guillotine, and what leader was de pantheonized, the tours were repleat with great information.... My husband and I went on two Discover Walks Paris walking tours - the Montmartre tour - where our guide was Julia - and Le Marais tour - with Quentin as our guide. Both tours were fantastic! Both guides were excellent and they provided insightful local knowledge in an interesting and fun way. When in Paris, make sure that you... More

Did the Paris Left Bank tour today with Julien, who is a great guide. He was very informative and we learned a lot about King Edward (Dirty Bertie), Napoleon and lots of history and architecture. Will do the Notre Dame and Montmartre tours also. I highly recommend these tours as the top thing to do in Paris as you learn... More
