We took the Historic and Montmartre Paris walking tours with "Discover walks". Both guides were knowledgeable, easy-to-find with the pink vests, and effective. Definitely a solid walking tour. I feel bad that we can't contribute more in tips (because these really aren't "free") and while I love having young-people-guides I think I prefer "greeters" because they are usually retired and... Our family took two walks with "Discover Walks Paris" - the Trendy Marais and Paris Landmarks. These tours are wonderful ways to get to know an area, and learn about the history of an area in a fun way. Our guides were extremely knowledgable, accessible for questions and both young gentlemen had a great sense of humor - which made... More

Our tour of Montmartre with Celeste was wonderful. We have done walking tours like this in many different cities and Celeste was among the best guides we have had. She was knowledgeable, interesting and clearly passionate about the Neighbourhood she lives in and easily conveyed that to our group. We would recommend the tour to anyone.

Our guide Valentin, was extremely knowledgeable, funny, outgoing and entertaining. He took us on a tour of Paris that most tourist do not ever see. He also had a great wealth of knowledge of the city and its past and of random places. WE would have never spotted or noticed many of these places without him. Highly recommend this tour... More

Our guide Astrid was young, fun and passionate about art and history. She took us on a wonderful tour through Le Marais and to the classic tourist destinations of Paris. We loved her knowledge and the fact that she included secret gardens, delicious bakeries, historic sites and the view from the top of Galeries Lafayette in our tour. We couldn't... More

Excellent. Our guide was informative and gave entertaining snippets of information. Pointed out items of interest that one misses when walking around on your own.

We did 2 tours in one day one at 10 and one at 2:30. With a nice relaxing lunch in between. Now we don't mind walking at all so plan accordingly. We started with the Paris Highlights Tour. It was a great way to get a nice overview and tons of history from this fabulous city. This was easy walking... More

I took the Montmartre walking tour on a windy, rainy day and still enjoyed it. It was one of my favorite things I did in Paris. Our guide had so many local stories and so much information, it was well worth the up-hill walk.

We had a great experience with discovery tours with the Montmartre walking tour. Our tour guide Julian was very knowledgable, personable and friendly. We started at Blanche metro station and finished at Sacre Coeur. Approx 25 other people were on the tour and Julian made an effort to speak with everyone. Montmartre/Abesses is a great place to visit and I... More

Lily was our tour guide on this interesting tour of Paris' famed artist quarters during a rain-filled evening. We found Lily to be an earnest & sincere guide, even though the flair of a story-teller was missing. For me, well-recounted stories are what make the walk come alive for you, adding most of the value.
