My husband and I were traveling with my Aunt and Uncle over the US Thanksgiving holiday to visit Normandy and Mont Saint Michel. We had looked into group tours from Paris but nothing fit our need. We hired Parismatic for a two day tour and could not be happier. I coordinated the trip with Georges and Fred to develop the bespoke tour. We visited the D-Day Beaches of Normandy, an overnight in Bayeux and then a tour to Mont Saint Michel and then taking us back to Paris.
Our driver and guide Julien he was lovely. Our group had a wide range of knowledge and he was able to speak to all knowledge levels at every place we went. He provided a good level of detail and context. Julien kept us on time and we got to see everything we wanted to without exception. The restaurants he selected for lunch were lovely and we enjoyed both together. And most importantly he was comfortable with silence. I say that having had guides that feel the need to talk non-stop for hours. It was not the case. He provided an excellent 60 minute intro to Normandy on the way to the beaches and again about 20 minutes out from Mont Saint Michel. It was perfect.
It is always a bit nerve-wracking to abdicate large chunks of your vacation to a company but I would recommend Parismatic without reservation. They were professional, on time, pleasant and really made our trip so memorable in the very best way.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Parismatic made the trip easy and enjoyable. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us later that night. Our guide, Bertrand was amazing! He was friendly and made the long trip pass quickly. He was unbelievably knowledgeable and engaged our three children at every stop. Adults and kids both had a great time and learned a lot about WWII and the various important locations.

Julian is an outstanding guide. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the history of Versailles and the Louis’ specifically, but also about history in general. The car was very comfortable. On the drive out he reviewed the historical relevance of the landmarks we passed. At Versailles he knew exactly where to stand for the best views. His commentary was very informative, especially since he put everything into context. Exploring the private houses and gardens was also very interesting. Lunch was great. Julian himself was delightful and very helpful in ensuring we had the perfect trip. We cannot recommend him too highly.

Our tour guide lost the focus of the trip and instead gave us an overview of the entire history of France instead of focusing on the periods represented by the castle. We were rushed at the second castle and missed the entrance to the third. For 750 euros pervperson, the guide should have paved our day more responsibly.

Be assured that we do our best to improve our services.
However, let us to clarify the situation.
First of all you booked a private tour with a luxury vehicle (7seats) with an expert guide only for your party (2 persons) you payed 1400€ (witch is the coast of the whole vehicle).
Your licensed and expert guide with 22 years of experience did his best to make your visite as informative as possible. By the way, next day he was thankful and touched by your text on his phone "Thank you for the informative tour".
As you were very much interested by the history which made you to spend more time during the stops, your guide from very beginning was very much worried that you will not be able to visite the interior of the Chambord palace as it is closing at 5pm which means the last access is 4.30pm. But as it was a private tour, so he could only advise but never insist to do shorter stops.
We totally understand your discontentment that’s why we did a little refund.
We are very sorry again about all the issues met during your tour.
We hope to see you again on one of our tours.

While going to Normandy was an amazing experience our tour guide was a bit lacking. This tour was not one he was passionate about, per his disclosure, nor one he had done a great deal so the information about Normandy and the excitement about going just was not there. We appreciated having the trip but would not consider this the most valuable tour for the cost.

One can not find flaw with the experience of the “Versailles Palace & Marie-Antoinette's Estate Private Guided Tour with Lunch”. Our tour was booked via AMEX Platinum concierge, and we chose the most comprehensive of offerings. This still exceeded our every expectation.
Fred was our guide, and the wisdom and passion he promulgated through the tour entirety I feel will not be paralleled in my lifetime.
We were picked up from our hotel in Paris by VIP transport while Fred was building the French history along the way. He has intimate knowledge of his country, painting vivid imagery of the beauty of France juxtaposed with the austere times of instability.
When we arrived at the palace, we entered through an exclusive entrance allowing us to stay ahead of crowds. Fred was able to answer my unconventional questions about symbology, popular myths, religion at the time, and even the unique origins of the rare woods of the furniture in the palace. At the same time the tour was engaging, with Fred asking thoughtful questions as to what would be next, then furthering the history.
Lunch was relaxing and we were encouraged to order anything off of the menu. There were no disappointments in the culinary experience either.
We finished the tour in Marie Antoinette’s estate and were still awed by the continued opulence.
This tour with Fred was so intricate and comprehensive, that when we later visited the Louvre with a different company and tour guide the next day, it truly demonstrated what we already knew… Fred is an amazing guide that when seeing Paris for a premium tour, is what we perceive the only way to go.

I think our guide, Fred Khighatian, should be writing books instead of giving tours. We weren't 100 yards from our hotel before Fred started sharing his detailed knowledge of the surrounding area, and our Versailles destination. We were most impressed because Fred has been doing this for 22 years and still has a passion that was evident in anything he spoke about. His detailed stories of Louis XIV court life at Versailles was especially entertaining. This was our second visit to Versailles, but I got more out of Fred than all the guide books combined. If you're touring Paris and Versailles, we would highly recommend Fred; he made the difference between a good trip and a great one!

We want to comment on the wonderful tour of Versailles provided by Zara. She is truly a store house of knowledge. She made the tour extra special. Our van did not have air conditioning due to a part needing to be repaired, but it was hot. Altogether I think this is a wonderful tour.

Frederick was a wonderful tour guide and he was so knowledgeable. He talked a lot about the history behind the palace of Versailles on our way there and when we arrived We skipped the line and went straight into the palace. He explained each room’s architecture & paintings. It was probably a little too much for my 17-year-old granddaughter (not into history as much as me) and he realized that and gave us the highlights. I would definitely recommend it.
