From the moment we were picked up by Noel to the final drop off by Noel, we were pampered, hand carried, and given Paris like a box of jewels. After dreaming of seeing the Eiffel Tower since chilhood, actually being in Paris was breathtaking. Having natives of the city guiding, leading, and teaching has changed how we will travel in the future. Yes, you can do Paris on your own, but having a private van, attentive guides full of knowledge, and someone to prebuy all needed tickets and make all reservations makes for an easy, romantic vacation. Stephanie was everything you could imagine a true Parisian Woman would be: tall, elegant, with chic short hair, trendy clothes, and an attractive personality. From the moment we met, it was like she was an old friend or distant cousin that you never knew you had. While we were not to specific on what we wanted, she gave us everything we could ever ask to see. After spending some time visiting, she had an understanding of what we were as a couple and as tourist/travelers and created a two day tour that will be in our minds forever. She even worked with our fatigue and gave us a drive around the city with fast jump outs to do quick siteseeing: a Roman ruin discovered in city, gardens in the middle of apartments, parks, and probably to our own embarrassment, we saw Monet's Water Lilies in under twenty minutes from drop off to pickup! Well, that's the kind of people we are: move it along! Stephanie worked with out requests and desires and always managed to add something to the adventure. Her knowledge is complete and is offered in a kind manner. Our interaction with Phillipe was relaxed and easy. He arranged a fantastic River Dinner Cruise and handcarried us from hotel to the ship back to hotel. Just a tibit: an American's glass of wine is twice to three times what a French glass of wine would be...just relax, they will refill it, again and again and Phillipe will pour you into the tour van and give you a gleaming drive around the nightlife of Paris that is unforgettable. All interaction was pleasant from beginning emails to final escort to airport. We will use the Best of France Tours when we return!
