The worst service ever!
Feb 2020 • Friends
Hey guys! Please be careful. I asked for a caipirinha at this Bistrot 27 and they served me the worst cheap alcohol ever!!! It wasn’t cachaça at all and the taste was awful. So avoid this Bistrot 27, it’s one of those places where they think costumers won’t notice what’s on their drinks... I complaint but still had to pay for it. Later the waiter started chasing us...asking us to move to another table and then wanting to take a chair off (even if my friend was using it) ‘cause he needed to make more room. Guys there are better places nearby, don’t pay for the worst booze ever!

Tiny street across the Notre Dame
Dec 2019
This small pedestrian street is at the beginning of the Latin quarter, just across the Cite and Notre Dame. A lot of cafes and restaurants at real bargain prices for Paris.
Special charm it gets at night when it gets really crowded.

This is a pedestrian street
Nov 2019 • Couples
It’s a narrow short street for pedestrians- no cars. It has a lot of little shops to buy trinkets and tzatchkas- sometimes useful stuff and sometimes souvenirs. There’s a lot of places to eat. There are entertainment venues.

I visited this place.... once.

The street to Visit for fun fun fun night out
Jan 2019
This area and this street specifically is so much fun! This street is full of life! You can spend a whole evening right on this street. Great places to grab a souvenir. Grab dinner at one of the Delicious restaurants there are many of them or budget-friendly, vegetarian falafels; catch desert or a chocolate chaud which is life hot pudding in a cup on your way by; purchase a rose for your sweetheart or for yourself for that matter, as you walk the street; My personal favorite! Go straight to the Caveau De La Huchette, which is featured in the movie, La La Land, and the hosts for many historic Jazz bands. There is AMAZING live jazz 7 nights a week and you can watch incredible dancers do the Lindy Hop or Swing Dancing or join in to learn as a novice! Catch the Piano Bar on your way out for a nightcap. If you need a French snack on your way home, they have amazing Crepes made right before your eyes with your choice of ingredients, yum! There a so many great places to enjoy music, how about a little Salsa action? Did I mention you are so close to the Seine river which is walking distance and breathtaking at night and Hotel Europe is close by and they are a wonderful boutique style hotel! All this within easyyy walking distance! There is barely any to no traffic so walk the street freely. It is a family-friendly and single friendly street. Its a must see must go in Paris. I have been in Paris collectively for 6 months over the last year and a half and it is one of my favorite, if not my very favorite places to be! The locals love it too!

A very old and lively street with many informal restaurants
Dec 2018 • Couples
This is a short and narrow pedestrian street located in the Latin Quarter, one block away from the Seine River, on the Rive Gauche (the Left Bank of this spectacular river).

It is a very old street, lively and different, with lots of informal and colorful restaurants, many of them Greek. It starts at the impressive Place Saint Michel with its beautiful fountain in which the Archangel Saint Michael triumphs over the devil.

I love walking around Paris, and this street is very animated and has a lot of character. When I am at the Rive Gauche, I frequently include Rue de la Huchette in my walks. It is indeed a place for tourists, but that is OK for me!

Great Little Area
Oct 2018 • Family
This area has a lot of different things going for it, firstly, it is near Notre Dame so it feels somewhat busy. There are plenty of places to eat and shop and whilst a touristy area, the food quality and the price is much better compared to the busier more popular tourist areas.

Great atmosphere!
Oct 2018 • Couples
A great little place tucked away near Notre Dame, cheap eats, and live music aplenty! Definitely worth a visit (evenings the best).
