Walking up the hill to Montmartre, was a little tiring however, worth the effort to see this windmill that was built in the 1700’s , used to ground flour, which one of many dotted around the hill, this one currently sits above a restaurant, awesome piccies to be had.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around the wonderful Montmartre District ( Arrondissement 18 ) when we chanced upon two windmills , Moulin De Brute Fin and this windmill called Moulin Radet .
Moulin Radet was one of 30 windmills that once dotted the hill of Montmartre and dates from 1717 ,this mills original purpose was to ground flour ,although you can't enter the windmill you can easily view it from Rue Lepic ,makes for some wonderful photographs ,it's well worth checking out if you're in the Montmartre District.

Even if you can't go in to have a seat, this is a very classic historic site on how was Paris built in the past

One of the last real Mill of Montmartre. This mill is the last trace of montmartre of "Belle Epoque" (painted by Van Gogh, Renoir....)

There are still windmills ( Moulin) on Montmartre and Moulin Radet is one that is easily seen from the street and is nice to take photos.
There is a restaurant here also.
