Returned here recently and enjoyed my walk through the Marais. Noted lots of places to eat. Had a glass of wine outside at a cafe near the Metro stop.

This is a lovely street, filled with bars, restaurants and some trendy shops and galleries. The street comes to life especially after dark with a lot of locals coming to relax and unwind.

I loved Marais and all its shops. Rue de temple is surrounded by great bars, shops, and galleries. If you are thinking of staying somewhere in Paris, I would choose this neighborhood.

Lots to see along the way as you wander along through the Marais. I prefer the northern end in the 3rd where it is more gritty. Lots of old restored buildings.
