This reminded me of hanging in the basement of the house I shared with 5 college buddies. Smelled like it to. There is a small main bar area and then there is the creepy dim lit, stale beer smelling back room. When we went back there it was littered with empty glasses. When we came in, the bartender was talking to a friend and watching TV and never picked up the glasses. But....there is a reason why we went and why I am saying it might be worth going if you are in Saint Germaine....the beer and drinks are more than affordable! We paid $8 for a Long Island Ice Tea or a better description would be a glass full of liquor. For $20 dollars, my wife and I walked out feeling really good with little need to spend anymore money on drinks. We also had fun joking about the place. The bartender was nice and helpful. If you want cheap drinks and an interesting (vintage?) atmosphere this is your place.
