Link Paris arranged the train transportation from Paris, two wonderful nights in the beautiful town of Bayeux at a terrific hotel, an escorted day trip to Mont Saint Michel and a day trip to the Normandy beaches. Everything could not have worked out more perfectly or gone so well.
Our guides were outstanding. Not just knowledgeable, but studied historians, and just down-right nice people to spend a day with. They didn't just transport us to a place and dump us off. They were with us the entire time, giving us complete narration throughout the experience.
We learned not just about the main historical subjects, but about the people and life in France and the Normandy area.
You can do most of their tours in a day, including round trip transportation from Paris, but we loved spending the evenings in Bayeux, finding great restaurants and small town charm. The Bayeux Tapestry (not part of the tours) and the cathedral were an easy walk so they could be experienced on our own, and well-worth seeing. We didn't make it to the art or military museums in the town, but they are additional attractions.
If we return to Paris, we'll certainly consider other tour options from Link Paris. They treated us royally.

As part of an extension to a Bike and Barge Trip that we ran last summer on the Mosel, we took a group of 6 persons to Normandy on a tour arranged through Link Paris. Laura was excellent to work with. Everything she promised turned out to be true - and sometimes even more than she promised. Link Paris was flexible and worked with me to structure the 3 day trip exactly as I wanted it for my group. Even today non of them can quit talking about how excellent it was. The on-sight guide was amazing. Her knowledge of the area was great and she was not afraid to make suggestion about other stops to make along the way. I would recommend Link Paris for your next trip in Normandy - or whoever else they serve.

My husband and I booked a daytrip with LinkParis.com to the Loire Valley. Obviously once the pandemic hit we had to cancel the trip.We have spent alot of time trying to retrieve money from vendors throughout Europe, and some have been impossible to deal with. LinkParis has been the exception! They have been prompt about returning our inquiries and payment without any hassle. Dealing with this company has been a very positive experience! I would recommend this coompany and plan to use them when we are able to rebook our trip!

The tour of the Beaches of Normandy was even more than I expected Victor, the tour guide, had so much knowledge about facts, fiction, what should have happened vs, what actually happened. We spent a sufficient amount of time at each location, but there weren't enough hours in the day to see and read everything. I definitely would not have eliminated or shortened the time at any location. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with Victor. His knee wedge and enthusiasm are remarkable!

We took the day Bordeaux wine tour and it was even better than expected! We took the high speed train from Paris. Our group was small and our guide Luigi was absolutely fantastic! The Saint-Emillion and Pomerol wine region produces some of the best merlot wines in the world. We enjoyed the wines tasted and had some shipped home. And we learned a great real about the grand cru classification and the history of the region. Luigi went above and beyond. This tour is highly recommended for all wine enthusiasts!

My sister and I had a tour scheduled for Lourdes and train travel which we were unable to take due to the Covid virus. The tour was just one of many travel items we had booked and had to cancel and seek refunds. This was the only venue that provided a real person to deal with. The refund was swift and complete. Would deal with LInkParis in the future.

Thanks to Laura with Link Paris we had the perfect vacation. She arranged everything for us gave us specific and detailed instructions to make the most of our vacation. The location of our hotel was excellent and the hotel itself was fantastic. We did the Normandy and Mont Saint Michel tours and both my husband and I could not be happier. Highly recommend

We were ready to book a bus tour to Normandy when my son-in-law happened on the Link Paris website. Compared to the bus tour, we only had a 2 hour train ride, met at the train station by our tour guide. Our 8 person group allowed more of a personal tour. Morning at the Museum followed by an amazing lunch (included in price), Afternoon was spent on the Normandy Beaches, Cemetary. Our guide was lots of fun, very informative and we didn't feel rushed. On the way back to the train, she took us through small villages and beautiful countryside. Laura at Link Paris was very helpful and we even had our train tickets emailed to us before we left on our trip. I very highly recommended Link Paris for any part of your trip!

While staying in Paris, my wife and I wanted to make sure that we made the time to get to Normandy for a D Day tour. Many people will tell you that you need at least 2 days but I will say that the single day tour through Link Paris was exactly what we were looking for. They make our train arrangements to Caen then we were met by a small group guide at the Caen train station. I believe the guides are employees of the Memorial de Caen, a WWII museum. Our guide was Kathleen and she could not have been better. From the train station we went to the Museum. Museum time consisted of a guided tour with Kathleen, a fantastic lunch, then about an hour of our own time to visit the rest of the museum before heading out to the beaches and American Cemetery early afternoon.
We had a group of about 7 of us with Kathleen and a driver in a nice van. The tour and amount of time at each stop was orchestrated perfectly so that we were able to see all 5 locations without running out of time. I thought I knew D Day well but boy was I surprised. I learned so much more and am really happy that we went. My wife felt the same way. Yes it's a bit of a long day but it's truly worth it. If you're this close to Normandy on your vacation, contact Link Paris and set up this trip. You'll be happy you did.

I had travelled to Mt. St. Michel 30 years ago on a weekend trip. I wanted a one day trip and found Link Paris. A small Brittany tour company that took small groups that came by train. Note: I booked the train myself, which needs to coordinate when they know they have a group. Booking French trains early, 60 days advance, I got 1st class much cheaper than 2nd class. Did the same for Paris-Amsterdam. Bus to St Michel is 5 hours each way. Train is 2.5 hours. And this was an excellent tour with St. Malo and Dinan included. Marion gave us maps with hightlighted routes. Well organized. I looked for a comparable trip and only found privates guides for hundreds more.

Hello, we're interested in doing the Bordeaux Wine Tour From Paris In early October 2022.
Can you confirm that we will be picked up from the train station at Bordeaux or do we need to find our own way to the meeting place?
What happens if the train is delayed?
What is the maximum size of the tour group?
Many thanks

Can you provide some additional information about the Loire Valley Day Tour (Chambord, Chenonceau, etc)
We are considering it for the July timeframe.
What I would like to know is how much time will be available to spend at each castle?
At each castle are we free to tour individually or do we need to stay with the tour group? For example can we choose to spend time in the gardens vs spend time in the castle?
Roughly what time would we return to Paris in the evening if we traveled by train?
Thanks.

Hi, sorry we missed this earlier.
Clients are at each castle 60-90 minutes, and self touring is how this day works. The driver/guide will prime you with info., give you your admission tickets and then you tour as you wish. The return train is generally around 8:00 p.m., arriving in Paris about 9:20 p.m. Some days we can utilize a 6 p.m. return train from Blois, arriving in Paris at 7:30 p.m. This would be by request. and based on the castle agenda for the day.
Hope that helps, reach out to us directly at our website if you have any other questions. Again, sorry for the delay.

When clients book our “tour only” option on any of our day trips, we send exact instructions for the trains they need to be on so as to best intersect with the tour pick-up and drop-off times. Train times do vary during the year so we ask that all clients await these instructions, sent with their emailed voucher.
