About
At the crossroads of sports and active tourism, RunRun Tours offers guided tours in Paris in short strides! Our mission is to make it possible for all those like us, who cannot do without the pleasure of running, to keep training without having to worry about finding the right route and getting lost. While being entertained with stories about Paris, told by a local running mate who knows everything about the best places to run and to be, helping you discover the most beautiful and sometimes hidden sites of the city. Our running tours are offered daily at several departure times either in the morning or at night. They comprise five distances: 6, 8, 10, 12 or 21 km. Most of our tours have a shorter version. Besides the physical activity itself, they approach various interests of the runners, such as: history, gastronomy, nature and classical and unavoidable monuments of Paris.

I did the tour last year and loved how I was able to see the landmarks of the city, plus get a workout in. When a group of us decided to go back to Paris this year, I knew I wanted to book another tour for group for those who hadn’t been to Paris. Our group had a great time with Hamidou! He was very informative of each landmark, a great photographer and a wonderful running guide. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who hasn’t been to Paris! Thank you for such a fun tour!

How lovely that you came back to Paris and brought your friends to run with us, Emily! And that the day after having run the Disney half-marathon, impressive! Thank you most of all for your preference and for taking the time to write another review. Keep running with the same joy! We're in Paris waiting for you for another run, maybe next year again? :D Cheers!

Such a wonderful tour. Despite the rainy start, we had a blast running through the city, stopping here and there to learn some history, and take photos that are the most unique Paris shots I have seen. Hamidou and Chabane were fun to run with and they made sure to accommodate the different running paces within the group. Just as a note, the first 6km to the Eiffel Tower has a lot of stopping and starting, but the return trip is almost all running. Even as someone who doesn't run that distance regularly, I was able to complete the whole thing without problem. Would definitely recommend the tour!

This is honestly one of the best tours I have ever done - the communication from the company, from booking to post-run, was superb, and the entire experience such a pleasure.
I had a week booked in Paris & was hoping to get some good miles in (with my marathon-training plan), so when I found the 13.1 mile Run Tour of Paris, it looked perfect. I booked online & soon had a personal email from the company, confirming my details & asking for my hotel location in Paris. Andrea went above and beyond at all points of the process for me, including arranging for my 2 run guides to pick me up at my hotel in the morning of the run, and return me there afterwards - which was a very much appreciated addition to the tour.

I had 2x guides running with me, Hamidou and Chabane, who were simply fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and they spent the tour explaining the history & information of all the spots we passed. They also took so much care over the photos they took for me, making sure we got the best angles and vantage points all over the city! A highlight of the tour for me was being taken to the Sacre Coeur - the views over the city were stunning. Then, on the way back to Notre Dame, I was shown lots of little hidden statues and works of art, all through Montmartre - which were fascinating, and things I would never have found on my own.

I absolutely recommend this tour, I was taken such good care of - and then in the subsequent days was provided with all copies of the photos (and even a personalised video!) of my run. Superb work, thank you all so much!

I am a recreational runner (not in training, not a marathoner...i.e. I run slowly), and at first was apprehensive about my level of fitness fitting in with this tour. I am so happy that I took the chance and booked this tour at the beginning of my Paris vacation. Hamidou was an excellent pacer and an amazing guide through Paris. I was able to easily keep up the pace and it was thrilling to see the sights of Paris before the city woke up. We were able to run through the familiar hallmarks of Paris, a large outdoor market, the beautiful bridges and wrap our journey up along the Seine. I would recommend this trip to everyone who enjoys running. It is certainly a memory I will cherish. I also recommend that new comers to Paris schedule this at the beginning of their trip - it was so helpful to start my trip off with a knowledge of the city that helped me navigate my way around the rest of my vacation. Thank you so much run run tours!!

We had a morning half marathon run around Paris and we loved it! Hamidou was a great guide, he took great photos of us, told us a lot of stories, and went along with our running pace which was not fast. We had an amazing experience and we would highly recommend it to all runners visiting Paris!

This was by far the best tour I had in Paris, this was my second time in Paris and this did not disappoint! I booked the tour and weeks before leaving the states to come to Paris I had reached out with questions and the team did not hesitate to assist me with my ask. They went above and beyond and I hadn’t even arrived yet.

Before the run I received messages from my guide of where to meet and he even gave his phone number in case I got lost or took the wrong train.

I was about 10 min early but it was a nice meeting point because once you walk out the metro (at least the side I was on) the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral was right there!! Then super easy to get to the meeting point.

The other runner showed up not long after I did and we just started chit chatting until our guide showed up. (That’s the great thing about runners, no matter the country you are from everyone is so friendly)

Our tour started and I do not think the smile left my face! Everything was so beautiful from the oldest clock in France, to flame the was a gift from the states. It turn was a wonderful new surprise.

I am a slow runner so I did forewarn both guide and runner partner I am slow and both parties had no issues with that. I almost think it made the tour better because i felt we were all looking out for the best interest of each other, how does that happen at the first meeting? Totally made the tour even better.

Pictures were wonderful, stories and history behind the monuments were amazing to hear. Including were Marie Antoinette head was chopped off!

I would do this tour again!! Thank you sunrise running tours for making my short stay wonderful!!!

This is such a kind review, Anna! Thank you so much for taking the time during your vacation to write that. It was a pleasure exchanging messages and accompanying you on your rediscovery of Paris the active way! I'm especially glad that your review can help other runners to first, know that they can do their favorite activity while visiting Paris and also in virtually every city they visit - for RunRun Tours is part of a global community of more than 200 running tours suppliers worldwide, RunningTours.Net. Second, that they don't need to be afraid about the pace of the running tour, probably the number one question we receive from potential guests. Third and more importantly, you're absolutely right: runners love to meet each other and share their impressions, and we make a formidable and growing community around the world! That's why we love what we do, for it gives us the chance to meet so many nice people, just like you! Take care of yourself and see you next time for another run in Paris!

My fiancé and I took a private half marathon “Paris in a Nutshell” tour a couple of weeks ago. It was a great tour, for several reasons. Firstly, RunRun tours helped me orchestrate a proposal to her during the run! When I told Andrea from RunRun my plans, she recommended several different places for me to choose between and helped me work out the logistics, and Hamidou (our running guide) took excellent photos. He even ran FIVE MILES with a bottle of champagne and plastic flutes in his backpack, which he presented to us after we got engaged. (That, and of course, the ring.) The champagne was a complete surprise to me and it was a sweet touch.

Now, in addition to the fact that they helped me propose, RunRun just generally had a great tour. The route really did cover Paris “in a nutshell” as we passed too many landmarks to name, crossed the Seine several times, and ran up the famous wide boulevards of Paris, as well as down narrow streets I never would have otherwise found. Hamidou stopped us over a dozen times at beautiful views to take photos, which were then emailed to us later. A friend of mine took a 12k group tour with RunRun a few days prior, and she had a great experience as well, saying that Hamidou took many photos then too; so it wasn’t just that he knew we were getting engaged and gave us special treatment.

This was the first time either of us had taken a running tour. I’d highly recommend them in general, as they allow you to really see a lot of city at a good speed, and if you’re looking for one in Paris, I’d highly recommend RunRun’s half marathon route!

Such a lovely review, Jackson! Thank you so much, not only for this but for allowing us to take part in such a special moment in your lives! We loved preparing this running tour with you and were probably almost as excited with the anticipation of it! We're very glad that everything went well, that Ashlie said "yes" in such a fairytale scenery and during a run! Now we want to do more engagement running tours if they look like yours! Please receive again our best wishes for happiness and come back for another running adventure in Paris - maybe for a newlywed or a honeymoon running tour? :D

This was my first running tour anywhere in the world, so I really didn't know what to expect. This "Tour the Lights" nighttime run turned out to be the highlight of my trip to Paris. Andréa was a great guide and understood I was a new runner who needed to slow down from time to time. We'd run for a while, and then pause for her to point out the sights, provide some history, and take some photos. Our route took us from Notre Dame to the Trocadero Center. On the way, we saw places like the Louvre, Flame of Liberty, and Champs-Élysées. Andréa kept me motivated, even though it was freezing (about 30F or -1C) outside. I didn't go the full 10K distance (I'm from a warm city and the temperature was really affecting me!) so Andréa got me to a metro station and made sure I knew the way back to the hotel. She also carried my water along the trip, so I never felt dehydrated. This was such a wonderful experience, and I hope to take another RunRun tour on my next trip to Paris. It was a really great way to explore the city.

Thank you for such a nice report of our running tour together, David! It was lovely to meet and run with you in Paris that night! I specially appreciated the part you described I pushed you a little bit along an uphill section :D I simply love when my guests realize that they're stronger than what they believed! That was what happened that day, and I'm very proud of you, it wasn't easy! Keep running with the same smile! I hope to meet you again next time you'll be to Paris!
