So Worth it! We loved using the big bus as part of the Paris Pass!

We bought big bus tickets for Paris and London. Our London experience wasnt the best- the busses came way less often (around 20 min wait each time), the busses were always full so standing room only (cant listen to historical info) and when you do get a seat, the ear phone jacks dont work.

But in Paris, we completely utilized every aspect of the busses and tour routes!! None of the earphone jacks had issues and the busses came very frequently. No more than a 7 min wait throughout our 3 days in Paris. We always got seats!

It was so perfect t to just check off all the landmarks so effortlessly and enjoy the historical info as we drive under the Eiffel Tower! So worth it. Saved our feet!

We took a two day tour with Big Bus which included the cruise tour too.
It went well except the below problems:
1. Once their electrical vehicle had some malfunction and we were made to want for 15-20 minutes to change to another vehicle.
2. Regarding boat trip they don't give enough information and one has to struggle to reach the right boat trip counter to collect tickets.
3. At many stops they just halt for 15-20 minutes without any reason. Over 1 1/2 hours they make you spend in a stand still bus during entire trip.
However, their frequency and service seems to be better than many other players.

I do these buses in every city I visit as it's such an easy way to see the entire city with ease. The full loop was around 2 hours and took in all the main sites which was great. Of course then you can always just get off where ever you wish so it was so easy getting back to my hotel near the tower :) The customer service assistant was very friendly too and went out of her way to say hello at the end of the tour which was very nice.

We were in Paris for my husbands 50th birthday on the 19th January. Got the train in and got off at Arc de Triomphe. It was already past midday and we decided to buy tickets on the Big Bus to be able to get the Paris experience and see the big sites in a short amount of time. Our 2 daughters were very excited to learn more about this beautiful city. We paid €116 for the 4 of us. When we purchased the tickets the guide said the bus might not be able to go over the bridge at the Eiffel tower due to a demonstration taking place. No other disruptions were talked about. Well.... we hopped on the bus which started driving down the Champ Elysees. Then it suddenly detoured and all the information was replaced by music. We finally got to the Eiffel tower and was dropped off on the other side of the bridge. No problem really but this is where it all went pear shaped. After spending an hour or so visiting the Eiffel tower we went back to the bus stop only to wait and wait and wait.... No reps in sight we looked on the map and decided to walk to another stop not so far away. There we stood for an hour with about 20 other tourists before a bus turned up. There was a rep on the bus that came to the top and said the tour would have to take an alternative way and when asking for a refund he said we would have to email head office.I have indeed emailed their head office who is offering us a 50% refund, not good enough!

We had Paris Passes so this bus tour was included, normally costs €45 per adult. Started off by Eiffel Tower, went by Champ de Mars, Opera, Louvre, Petit and Grand Palais, Notre Dame, Champs Elyseés and back around. You can hop off and back on when you feel like, they come by every ten minutes. Audio commentary is provided in various languages and they give you headphones which you plug in above the seat to hear.

We enjoyed this, but didn't stop at all stops (missed out Notre Dame). We saw this the next day luckily on Bateaux Parisiens cruise, but worth bearing in mind so not the best value if you're paying the normal ticket price. Recommend getting the Paris Pass and doing it.

Big Bus tour is a great way to get a glimpse of the city and very convenient if you have a few places to go to.

The weather was blazing hot in June but touring around the city on the 2nd deck provided lots of breeze and cool air.

At any stop, you can get on the bus and get off to enjoy the sights of Paris, they give you disposable headphones in order to listen to an audio guide in different languages of the world.
Download the app because you'll have to know and plan in advance when to get back on the bus and get in the line.

The only thing is that I didnt have enough time to go to each and every landmark.
So you gotta plan how long you wanna spend at each stop.

Highly recommend this tour!

I like to do a sightseeing tour of a city to get an overall sense of where to return. Big Bus Paris was okay, but the headset didn't work, so there was no audio for the tour and more of a bus ride around the city. It wasn't easy to find the location, but once we did, the staff was helpful and our driver even let me onboard to get a seat while my husband was in line getting the tickets! That was above and beyond necessary on his part AND he let me dash in to the market to grab a cold water before we headed out! Thanks for the kindness!

Our driver was a total clown who was on TickTok every time the bus came to a halt !!

Due to traffic issue 3 buses came all in 1 go. as the weather was awful, rather than spreading passengers around so everyone had a downstairs seat, they piled everyone onto 1 bus & left the other 2 empty.

They also failed to advise that one of the stops is closed, so we stood there for 30 minutes before walking to another stop

We bought our tickets valid 24 hours. In fact, buses stop running at 5:40 p.m. To continue the visit in the evening, you have to pay 30 euros again. The tour is short and uninteresting, comments without any interest. In short, to avoid absolutely

Paid for a hop on hop off day ticket. The bus advertises evening tours so we went at 6.30 for the tour. We were so disappointed when we were told the buses had finished for the day. Luckily we saw a to-to bus and paid for an evening tour.

Hi Ireneby8324ec, we appreciate your honest review. We set a high standard for ourselves, so we are disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. Indeed, our last departure is at 5.30pm for the very last full trip. Our Night Tour, which is a different ticket departs at 8.15pm. Hope you give us another chance the next time to show you around. Take care!
