Hikes from Macinaggio, Cap Corse

Take the 10 am minibus from Bastia (only 2 departures/day). It departs from the bus shelter 1/2 block from the Tourist Info office, near the ferry docks; pay the driver E5 pp. This is a spectacular 50-minute coastal drive. Once in Macinaggio, walk to the other side of the marina and get a hiking map from the Tourist Info office there. Free restrooms at the Marina bldg. There are several hikes of historical interest out from the town, from one to several hours long. Charming seafront with numerous sidewalk cafes, for lunch after your hike. The return bus to Bastia is at 3 pm.
