Don't miss this sweet little train which will take you out of Ajaccio to the Iles de Sanguinaires. Good value for money and a lot to see on the way. Great for children.

We were amazed at how far the train took us. Not just around the town and to Napoleon's birthplace but also up the coast. We were given time to take photographs and explore the scenery. Driver made it fun by weaving on the road. We were in the last seats in the last coach was a fun ride with English... More

Train itself is quite fun and it's not bad for basic orientation but there isn't really much to this little tour. Probably would appeal to families with very young children. Guide is an electronic recording so no personal insights or bursts of enthusiasm. However, provides an efficient alternative to public transport to some key spots in town if you're not... More

Another Petit Train, but quite a good one, giving a flavour of central Ajaccio, saving you the walk to Napoleon's monument and particularly taking you out along the coast to the Iles Sanguinaire. A 15 minute stop at the former was plenty of time to have a look and (I think) 25 minutes at the latter to have a short... More

We were in d'Ajaccio for one day whilst on a cruise and after spending quite a while walking around the town decided to take the train to see the views further afield. We opted for the longer journey which took us several miles out of town and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although seated at the rear was a little... More

We took the 1h40 tour to explore Ajaccio. This is money well spent. You do most of the best tourist sights. You also stop and have 15 minutes to take some photos and explore. This is highly recommended when time is limited. Would recommend it highly.

This little street-going petite train is just like those in several other European cities. But this trip was really poor and over-priced. Unless you have mobility issues, you're much better off just walking around on your own.

Only had a day in Ajaccio and reluctantly agreed to a trip on another petit train. However, it was a little gem. Saves the long walk up to Napoleon statue followed by a trip along the Route des Sanguinaires, which is a picturesque coastal route. The train stops at both these locations for photos. All the other main sights are... More

Advertised leaving on the hour for seven euro, the driver would not leave until every seat was crammed. These seats will normally hold two adults and two kids. He tried to cram two overweight French women in our row and we refused to move. One of the women was crammed into the row in front of us and she was... More

With just one in day in Ajaccio the cruise ship arrived in the French Port and beautiful harbor of Ajaccio. Took the Le Petit train that went around Ajaccio. The little train takes you all around the town center, picturesque lanes and old monuments and houses. Stops at the Napoleon Bonaparte monument (as this was his birthplace) a great vantage... More
