OK, let's clear that up right away, this is not a desert. There's a nice sandy beach that extends a bit on land... The rest is rock and Corsican "maquia". It is a beautiful place where to hike (many different paths with different distances to cover). I was there in spring and the smell was amazing, it felt like in... More

Maybe it is technically, but it just feels like a bit of a barren area. We passed through it rather than making it a destination

Drove through this area on the journey from Calvi to Saint Florent. Brillint scenery so try to be the passenger. Wish we had had the time to explore the area more fully.

Very nice organized trip. We booked a 4x4 with a driver for 18€/person. You can do the trip by yourself but need definitely an adequate car and experienced driver. 45min bumpy drive through rough but beautiful landscape. At the end a beautiful beach, no shadow so don't forget a hat, beach umbrella etc. it can be very windy. Worth it.

Extremely unusual, rugged terrain with distant views of the Sea. An interesting drive on curvy but well maintained roads with plenty of pull-offs to enjoy the sights. Highly recommend.

Take a walk along the coast deep into the agriates. Two awesome beaches are along the way. Do not forgot to bring water and some shade, no snackbars along the trail!! Where to start:: Follow the road to campsite U Pezzo, pass by and drive until the road ends. Wnjoy!!

We caught a ferry from St Florent to Plage de Saleccia. The ferry ride was a Great way to see the coast of the Desert des Agriates and Cap Cors. We dropped people off at Plage Lotu which was beautiful! I have never seen sea so blue and turquoise and so clear (and I've been to the Seychelles!). The Plage... More

As we were there in spring everything was green and blooming, so not very deserty but beautiful none the less. You can get quite a view of it from the road starting not far from St Florence.
