My day in Champagne was all I hoped it would be and more. I would highly recommend The Champagne Tour Co to anyone who would like to get a taste of what the Champagne region has to offer. Jean Baptiste (JB) was my guide/driver for the day, and he made the experience absolutely fantastic. He picked me up at my hotel and whisked me to Reims. During the drive he was able to provide me with a lot of useful information that I didn't know about the region (and I thought I had done my research). He was engaging, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He made the day so much more enjoyable.
I had asked Larry to choose smaller, family houses for my tour and he did just that. I was thrilled that each house selected was very different from the others, so I was able to try a wide variety of champagnes during my day. I was very pleased with the quality of tastings offered and my cellar tour too. I was exactly what I had hoped for.
As a solo traveler, this was a bit of a splurge, but it was worth it! I was given a wonderfully relaxing tour of Champagne that suited my needs. I highly recommend The Champagne Tour Company and ask for JB!

I highly recommend The Champagne Tour Co.
Larry curated the perfect birthday / harvest tour for myself and three guests (ages 30-35). We experienced a fantastic mix of the large commercial and small family wineries. Larry also organized a spectacular lunch!
Our driver was wonderful and funny. He kept us on time (very important for us as we get easily distracted in the gift shops). He also made sure we stopped at the most breathtaking spots for photos.
Cheers Larry, we will be in touch for in next regional tour!

Couldn’t be happier with Experience with this tour. Very customizable and detailed setup. Driver/car were fantastic —easy pick up right outside train station. Did 3 high quality tours in the day—from minute size producer to large. Everything waiting when we arrived no hassle at all. Will certainly be back and will certainly use this operator.

The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish and I would highly recommend The Champagne Tour Co to anyone looking for a customizable tour of the Champagne region. My husband and I requested a tour only 3 days in advance; Larry was quick to respond and pulled together a fantastic day for us with short notice during the busy summer season. He asked great questions and was considerate of our preferences and budget. (Note: I would recommend reaching out further in advance to give him even more time to work his magic.) Our guide Jean Baptiste was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I would suggest a mix of large and small producers for any first timers. We loved every minute of our day and can't wait for our Champagne shipments to arrive back home!

Larry and crew did an excellent job of tailoring a great two day trip for my daughter and I. Our driver for a day of champagne tasting, David, was exceptional. He had a wealth of knowledge of the area and was able to deftly accomodate a later lunch as our first tour went long. I would highly recommend Larry and his team!

A wonderful and smart way to visit Champagne. Train to Reims is easy and efficient. Clear pickup instructions, extraordinarily clean car and knowledgeable and fluent guide David made the day more enjoyable. Very customizable. We had David find a supermarket along the way so we could picnic rather than sit in a restaurant and David was happy to oblige. We visited Tattinger and the Dom Perignon abbey as well as the main cathedral.

This was our first trip to Champagne and it was amazing! Larry did a great job asking the right questions to provide the best experience. We stayed in Reims where Ahmed picked us up. He was very professional and friendly and the van was super comfortable. We did a full day tour and visited a mixture of small champagne producers and large ones. We loved the small producers and their champagne so much we are on their mailing list and plan to be regular customers for a long time. Not only was the champagne amazing, but the education was fantastic. Larry found this excellent spot for lunch that had great food and an amazing view of the valley. Somehow, Larry even ordered a warm and sunny day;). We highly recommend this tour company to anyone who wants a first class tour in comfort and style.

I have been to Champagne many times and am quite familiar with the champagne making process. I was so impressed with how Larry worked with me on a custom itinerary that would introduce us to smaller producers we had never visited, each of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
He had clearly briefed them that we were not beginners, so each stop focused on the unique aspects of their house, and a tasting of their rare/unusual cuvees.
Our driver on the day was also very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing a lot of industry and local history as we went between stops.
If you want a special experience, catered specifically to your tastes, you will not be disappointed!

It was great fun planning your trip. I love finding special vineyards for guests who have been to Champagne many times and looking for new high quality champagnes to taste.

We had an amazing time during the tour. Our driver Ahmed was very accommodating and professional. All of the stops on our tour were beautiful and informative. It was a once in a lifetime trip and I'm glad we were able to experience it. Everyone abided by covid rules. Cheers and thanks again!

Hello. Hello. I am interested in a tour for 4 people on Monday, May 21. Can you give me more details. We have the entire day to tour and enjoy. We are staying in Paris at Le Meridien Hotel near convention center. I cannot seem to find any contact, pricing or availability details. I would be interested in a similar experience as noted in this review. Maybe even a 4th champagne house.
As avid champagne and rose' connoiseurs we were excited to visit the champagne region of Reims, France. Our experience with The Champagne Tour Company did not disappoint. We opted for 1 large champagne house Veuve Clicquot and 2 smaller independent champagne houses along with a stop at Notre Dame Cathedral of Reims. Our tour guide was fantastic and she made the whole experience one to remember. We were picked up by a Mercedes Mini Van at the train station and taken on a lovely journey through the countryside of Reims. We had a lovely 3 course traditional lunch at one of the independent houses and plenty of delicious champagne to try. Our guide even made a couple stops where we could take photos of the country side which was just beautiful. I highly recommend this tour especially if you love champagne. It's so much more than just a celebratory drink. The history is rich and very interesting. #roseadventures

Just a quick additional follow up that Veuve is closed Sunday and Monday so would suggest for a similar cellar visit Pommery or Taittinger.
Hi to TCTC. we are a party of 4 looking for a tour to the Champagne country on the 27th June. Open to suggestions but keen for this to include a visit to Reims and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Ideally 3 tastings and open to train to Reims or pick up in Paris. This all depending on the price. Cheers Carolyn
