The building initially doesn't look impressive or even nice at all, but the underground galleries are totally impressive. They have history dating back to the Romans, lots of WWI related history. Taittinger is a relatively recent Champagne maker (early 20th century) and much smaller than Moët & Chandon & Veuve Clicquot, but their galleries are just amazing. The guide was... More

Taittinger is a very good option for those interested in visiting a real Champagne cellar and have an introduction of its production. The visit begins with a descent to their cellars, which could be as deep as 30 meters and visiting the caves, which extend for kilometers and kilometers, some of them in use since Roman times! As long as... More

Nice tour and great cellars. The tour takes around one hour and after you can taste some champagne. Great to learn!

Taittinger is worth a stop. A short video is shown and then a tour to the cellar with a guide and stories about the history of Champagne and Teims. Returning to the bar for tasting can be done via lift. Good rest room facilities.

This is probably one of the most interesting and historic champagne caves. The caves dating back to Roman times and then used by the monks to store wine. The tour is great although being right in town and a bigger champagne house they are very large 30+ in our group. It provides an overview of the process as well as... More

After planning the trip from afar it was fatiguing to decide which Champagne Houses to visit in each town. I used TA to help guide me to what each would offer(as we had limited time) and I am so glad I did-this is a tour not to be missed. It offers unique history you won’t find at other places-so put... Really enjoyed the guided tour of the Taittinger champagne cellar -- and the champagne tasting! The guide was great and spoke English fluently. Highly recommend!

We visited Reims for a holiday and wanted to visit where some of our favourite Champagnes come from. Taittinger was up there at the top of the list as our go-to Champagne of choice. At 17 Euro per person for the tour, including a glass of Champagne, this in my mind was excellent value for money for a tour that... More

We took this tour not only for getting to know the caves where the champagne is placed to rest for a while but also because this ones are partly so old that they are nowadays part of the Unesco heritage sites. The size of the whole complex is crazy, and the tunnels filled with bottles don't seem to have an... More

I was a little disappointed with the tour through Taittinger but the same day we also did Veuve Clicqout. I found the English tour guide a little too informative even leaning towards a know it all. People would ask questions in the group and his answer were very short and almost caught by guard on some of the easy questions.... More
