When in Tours try not to miss the summer light show at the Cathedral. It was stupendous, telling a story with the lights and colours following the stonework and statuary on the front of the cathedral. The cathedral itself has many points of interest inside.

Very nice place to visit. Nice glass windows in whole cathedral. Cathedral itself is very monumental from outside and from inside too. Also children tomb is interesting. If you are in Tours it´s must see attraction.

Wonderful stained glass. Not possible to get a printed guide in English either in church, at tourist office or bookstore !!! Nor is it possible to obtain CD's with music from the church (collect on this). Do not miss the fantastic lightshow on the outside of the church in the evening.

Cathedral near the Museum of fine Art and to a fine little park and bistros. You can take the tramway and walk through a charming town quarter.

Be sure to stop in here, the stained glass is impressive. Allow at least 20 minutes to walk your way through this lovely old building.

This has some fantastic 13th century stained glass, well worth a look around. We revisited later for the laser light show projected onto the front, absolutely fantastic. See if you can.

Very impressive cathedral with beautiful stained glass and artwork. Got my credential stamped here. Was looking for the tomb of St Martin, but could not find that or any information of that accessible for the public. Nonetheless, I enjoyed some moments of peace and tranquillity in this beautiful place!

We happened to stumble onto the most fantastic light show on the side of the cathedral, telling the story of the cathedral's history. The animation was hugely impressive, and the story highlighted parts of the cathedral's architecture (inside and out) which could easily be missed. Suitable for all ages, I highly recommend catching it if you can! Most people were... More

A very imposing building, but inside it is magnificent. The stained glass is worth a visit in its own right.

We have seen other light shows but this one is by far the best. It is well worth watching. I was totally mesmerized.
