The stained glass is exceptional. While it is lovely to visit the cathedral at any day be sure to do at daylight to see the stained glass. The blue tainted glass above the sanctuary is reminiscent of the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. There are three...More

It is worth staying in Tours overnight so that you can visit early in the morning, before the noisy day tours arrive, and then also see the façade when it is illuminated at night.

This church was amazing. Beautiful stained glass windows and they had the choir singing which was wonderful. Even our kids enjoyed it.

This is a most impressive cathedral, made more so by the amazing light show they put on. We had only just arrived and just followed the crowds. It was a total wow. Enjoy

Didn't have time to go inside but already love the place. So nice. The fact that Tours is just a small town around the center if you keep patroling then you cannot miss it. Another lovely place to visit in Tours.

Definitely a place to visit while in Tours.A short walk away from old town, this cathedral has some beautiful stained glasses and was built from the 11-12th century ,a lot of history behind it.
