The tram crosses this bridge and cars can go across in one direction. There is swimming in the river possible on one side and a nice outdoor bar on the other.

A stroll across this bridge affords good views of the city skyline on both sides. The high water marks show just how severe the floods were in the 19th century.

A good place for a Kodak moment. The area is currently being refurbished and will be amazing when complete. There are a couple of fairground rides for children here too.

Nice way to see Loire. Simon's island on the left, beautiful sand and what looks like water fields on both sides when the river is shallow. Look for flat bottom boats typical for Loire. On both sides of the bridge there are charming riverside cafes.

Fantastic walk along the Loire just five minutes from Tours centre. The bridge carries trans across the river. It it a significant size with great architecture. We were here in s bright sunny day watching the birds fishing under the arches.

Fun bridge to walk across and see the river in both directions with it's wide boarders and sand bars, although not many boats.
