Nice for a coffee or launch break, and a photo-op of Jean on horse. Otherwise greatly overrated, but nice. Worth a pass-through.
Orléans has music on the streets everywhere on Summer Solstice night, and the Place du Martroi was the center of action, St Joan watching over it all. When I arrived, it was still daylight, and the market tents in the square were just coming down. By the time I left about…
In the middle of the shoppingarea of Orleans surronded with restaurants were you can sit and peoplewatch with a drink/coffee but avoid to eat here is my advise!
Easy to find right in the centre leading to the old centre. The square is dominated by the statue of Joan of Arc who is a heroine if mine so I had to see the statue.
Very large square situated in central area near main shops and restaurants and easy to pick up trams.
