We visited in May 2016 and had a great experience meeting Veronique and one of the brothers. We tasted the Rose and several of the Reds. We loved the Rose and La Haute Olive, all Cabernet Franc. Fun and easy tour with very friendly hosts. Don't miss it if in the area. We have since bought more of their wine... More

Very good wine tasting experience. We were given a very gracious talk about the different soil and how it impacted the taste. The portions were very generous, and we had to go for a walk to sober up a little. Will go again

We made an appointment to visit beforehand and it includes a tour and a tasting for 5 euro a person. The wines were pretty good, and he gave a very extensive explanation of the different terroires that affect the taste of the wine. He also told us that he came from so many generations of wine makers on both sides... More

Another great place to taste, discuss and to buy local wines. You can taste the red wines here grown on a variety of soils ranging from sandy to limestone to clay to gravel, each having quite different character. The trip downstairs to the winery was small but interesting with an exhibition of photos on each vat showing a pregnant woman,... More

We stopped in without an appointment and asked if we could do a tasting. The wines in Chinon are Cabernet Franc (and not blends) and we found the reds a little heavy for our tastes, and preferred their rose. However it was an incredibly informative and interesting tasting, particularly the explanation about how the different terroir changes the taste in... More

We were guests at the "Le Haut Des Lys chateau" and Mr. Paskal the owner which was an amazing host ( That's in a different review) recommended wine tasting at the winery and even gave us a double invitation for free. We arrived at the winery that seats outside Chinon near the Vienne river few miles before it unites with... More

Staff was so friendly and their wines were wonderful. They took their time and explained how their wines are produced. We look forward to ordering a case or two!

We had a fantastic tour which was followed by a very nice wine tasting with lots of history about the wines and the vines. Will definitely visit again. I ordered quite a few bottles and we're still going through them now.

Lovely service & informative discussion on wines in Chinon from a man whose family has been involved in wine production since the 15th century! The wines we tasted, without charge, were delicious and very reasonably priced. Loved it.

Always travel to Chinon to collect our wine from Pierre on my Birthday stay in the Ibis Styles Hotel. These wines are one of if not the best in the area.
