Ten centuries old and still profoundly moving. The ILLUMINATIONS show we saw was outstanding! Quiet, peaceful, historic, enchanting to just gaze at those stained glass windows! Le bleu de Chartres...still knocks me out!

The ticket office is inside the cathedral. As far as I know, they don't sell tickets on line. There is not that much of a wait to go up. We went at the beginning of June and there was no one there. It is pretty steep climb... More
