Dijon is a lovely little city, with plenty to see and do for a few days. Rue Des Forges is one of the prettier streets and well worth a visit.

I just loved Dijon, the buildings are very ornate and the town is very quaint. This area with it's fountain and carousel looks like something out of a fairy tale. This is a must see. There are restaurants and shops all around the area.

Great shopping street for ladies. Beautifil old street with many 15th century buildings. Well worth a look !!

It would be difficult to see the tourist sites in Dijon and miss this street. It has plenty of restaurants and shops and is close to all the main tourist attractions.

We wandered around the streets where we had reserved a hotel for a couple of nights, with open mouths! This was a complete shock to us, as we had tried to research Dijon, with very dull results. Stumbling into the old town which catapulted us back in time some 4-500 years was amazing and I wouldn't have missed it for... More

Nice medieval street, mostly original. Certainly not the most interesting medieval area I have visited in Europe, but then Dijon is very small! Fairly atmospheric.

One of the stunning sites of Dijon. You drink, eat and talk on terraces within a medieval atmosphere.

Amazing to see the buildings in this area, some 400-500 years old. Hard to imagine many of them have survived to this day thru weather, time, and war. A testament to the solid construction used many years ago and the styles still stand the test time. Simply incredible and absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

For sections of old cities to have survived the ravages of time and war and still survive today is a miracle and a blessing. Walking thru this area gives you chills as you realize you are walking down streets and viewing structures in the same way that people did 500 years ago. For a bigger city like Dijon-this is a...
