Under construction

Still a nice visit, but a lot of stuff is currently shut down. Also, the modern art rooms are closed for several hours in the middle of the day so plan your trip accordingly!

This museum is housed in a former chapel. There are paintings and statues, and a lot of chalices, altar cloths and similar items used in Catholic rites but they are so beautifully made and intricately worked that you are dazzled by the craftsmanship even if you are not interested in the religious history. The museum was not busy at all... More

The church and dome are splendid in this old convent church. It has loads of religious artifacts everywhere. It also has some contemporary exhibits as well. It's free.

The Museum of Sacred Art is an exceptional collection of sacred objects, from an unsurpassable collection of chalices - must be the best in the world from the point of view of it's variety and depth.
