Old Roman and Gallic ruins and artefacts have been excavated in an old convent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located off the beaten tourist track but well worth visiting, with some very good cafes nearby. Recommended.

If you are interested in archeology and pre-history then this museum is worth going to. They had a special exhibition on pre-history on at the time we visited which had translations into English accompanying the displays. The permanent exhibitions were all in French.

Housed in an amazing building. Start on the top floor and work your way down to the basement. If you like prehistory and Roman artefacts then you are in for a treat.

Interesting museum about human occupation in Burgandy region. Well put together. Intersting exhibition on at the moment with bonus English translations. Worth a visit if you are interested in pre-history. Also covers Roman archaeology. Spent just over a hour at this museum.

This free museum is quite well done in a small space. Well explained specimens of historic and prehistoric culture abound. The grotto at the very lowest level is totally fascinating.
