Frankly speaking the Dijon's Notre Dame is a disappointment if compared to others. Nothing special in terms of architecture or history, the place is just one of the countless town churches/cathedrals in Europe.

Notre Dame is a must see if visiting Paris. Built in the 13th century it is a building of superb architecture with amazing masonry work. The inside is beautiful however if you are allergic to dust be warned, there are layers of dust on the statues of saints. It is a magnificent example of architecture and the strength of the... More

Both outside and inside architectures are amazingly beautiful. The organ design is special: one part in front and the rest of the pipes behind. Do not miss this jewel !

This is a nice enough church, but nothing super special. Find the owl on the outside and rub it for good luck. The outside is more interesting than the inside.

This is in the middle of the old town. It's not particularly big but a nice place to stop in an otherwise busy city.

This Gothic style hotel with two towers was built between 1220-40 and is located in the heart of the historic center of Dijon. The impressive 3-level western façade & porch has three large arcades supported by 2 rows of pillars topped by 2 galleries, decorated w/ 51 gargoyles, that each rest on 17 small columns w/ capitals. The octagonal lantern... More

Sat in on a service. Very moving, yet peaceful. Soaring architecture. Small tourist information point and you can buy guides
