Impressive facade and of course gargoyles around the exterior make this an interesting church and cathedral. Stripped and gutted during the French Revolution it must have been spectacular prior to then. A little plain and dreary now. Worth the visit though if you are in...More

The Notre Dame was the last of the churches that we visited during our walking tour of Dijon and, perhaps our most memorable as there was an organ recital taking place during our visit. There is little better to listen to than an organ playing...More

Notre Dame doesn't exactly dominate Dijon. It's nestled away in narrow streets amongst other medieval buildings; but nonetheless it is an impressive church and worth taking a look around. There surrounding streets are worth an bit of an adventure. Lots of cobbled alleys. Not great...More

A Roman Catholic Church in dijon from the 13 century, located in the old town of dijon not far from the dukes palace. An amazing interior and includes the statue of notre dame de bon espoir(black madona). Loved this church. A must see in dijon.

We enjoyed stopping by and visiting this church. No admission to visit the main cathedral. Going up through the tower costs a fee.

Before entering this cathedral, look up and see the many statues, gargoyles, protruding from the facade--amazing and worth a photo. Once inside, make sure you see the statue of Notre-Dame de Bon-Espoir, a wooden statue that dates back to the 11th century. It is one...More

Well worth a visit. Stunning stained glass. Mass was occurring when we visited but we were still very welcome. It's on the Owl Trail which takes you all around the best parts of Dijon.

I had expected this church to be a bit more spectacular. It was a nice church to visit but nothing really stood out. If you are close its for sure worth a visit, but don’t go out of your way for it. Nuns selling food...More

Another beautiful church. Get in, take a chair and be silent. Let the space and atmosphere do it's work. When you are lucky some plays the organ.

This is a classical Gothic style cathedral. Special mention to the tainted glass, the owl on the back facade that brings luck when touched with the left hand, and the outside main entrance facade. Free entrance.
