Surprising find

We were in the notre same area at lunchtime and looked around fir a bite to eat. We wandered into the restaurant and were shown to a table in the garden area. The set menus were... read more

What a lovely charming restaurant - one of the oldest buildings in town; i would recommend booking a table ; we came on a Sunday but were early for lunch so managed to get the last vacant table, and what a treat! We had lovely service even though the waiter didn't speak a lot of English they were very efficient... More

This is the one place you MUST see at night. Illumination is superb and the sight is spectacular. In my opinion the colder the climate the better.

As I was looking for authentic and memorable place to have a meal while I was in Dijon and also because of the good reviews I read on Tripadvisor, I picked Maison Milliere. Were my expectations too high? Well, I was in for a nasty surprise. I walked in around 12.30 p.m. The nice and friendly folk in the store... More

After visiting Notre Dame and making our wishes while touching the little Owl on the side, we moved on to dine at the venerable Maison Milliere. Wow. Today on our Sixth visit over the past three decades, something wonderful has occurred. Petrine Henault and her second Gregoire are making magic in the kitchen. My wife enjoyed a lovely Kir Royal... The reviews of this place on TripAdvisor mostly seem accurate, but the photos are perplexing in that they show photos of buildings close by, but not of the actual building itself! This is crazy because the building is the oldest standing home in Dijon and it is a rare example of medieval architecture. It was built in 1483 - 9... More

An attractive house, but audiophones matched nothing in the house. Furniture was interesting, but no information given about the owners or heritage of the house. Staff was unhelpful and unfriendly.

This place boasts a café, restaurant and a souvenir shop. The café spills out into a courtyard with trompe l'oeil painting on the walls. A lovely place to sip a Kir.

Sept 14, 2012 Like in so many other instances, we canceled lunch at another resto and ate instead at a place closer to our hotel. We had heard about this one. It is very near our hotel. It's easy for the newcomer to get lost in Dijon with its winding streets. Maison Milliere seemed a safe bet with its traditional... More
