We stumbled across this place in the historic centre of Beaune. As the other reviews note it is a large place with a massive selection of all things wine related. We saw some Cassis and wanted to make some Kir's so asked for advice on some white wine which was provided (and not expensive). With a minimal knowledge of Burgundian... More

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant place if you're interested in wine in any way - buying it, reading about it, or stocking up on related bits and pieces (the range of corkscrews alone is excellent - there is even a choice of one for opening old bottles that I'd been seeking for a while as well as a range of display cabinets... A store for everything wine-related. Not only were they the only store in the city that had any bottles of Frederic Lafarge's stunning Volnay 1er Cru (a 2005 Clos de Chenes), they were also able to find us an incredible reusable six-shipper for us on a very urgent basis (we had bought far too many bottles than would comfortably and... This was a great place to pick up some cards and interesting souvenirs. I had already reached my limit of books to take back and the books displays and selection were almost too tempting. The wine shop was an nice addition.

Of course reading French helps but plenty of "other" languages available. The store is not just limited to wine, literature, travel, cooking is all available. Lots of wine and wine accessories as well. Very helpful and friendly staff makes it a pleasurable experience.

This is a fun place to stop. Everything you would want to read regarding burgundy wines is in this shop. Large and eclectic selection of decanters and glasses and wine accessories; a little mind boggling in a good way. What was a little disappointing were the prices. I cannot comment on the wine values but some of the accessories are... More

There is something for everyone to buy in this shop so remember to take your wallet!! From wine and wine paraphernalia to gifts, souvenirs and an incredible range of beautiful and unusual cards. There is a section of books that are English for those starved of reading matter and a children's toy section upstairs. If you need to take gifts... More

As a Vigneron this shop is a must. It's the most comprehensive wine store I've ever visited, and I've been in a few....heavily skewed towards Burgundian wines, but loads of wine literature, touristy products and every conceivable wine product imaginable. Great Experience, well worth a look when in Beaune.
