Compared with the Abbey and Cathedral this is a relatively small church, located only a few minutes walk from the town center. The entrance isn't where you would expect it, it seems to be at the back of the church. Once inside it's the brightness and the wonderful stained glass windows that catch the eye. They really are magnificent, well worth a visit.

Peaceful and lovely and bright inside. Has 15th century glass windows but the building dates back to 7th century. No queues no charges.

One of the smaller churches in Auxerre, it probably receives fewer visitors but definitely is worth your time. Nice vaulting; some older stained glass (e.g., the Saint-Sebastian window dating to 1580). Exterior is impressive. Very glad that I visited.

But well worth a look inside although the Church looks boarded up on the outside it is bright and fresh on the inside with very nice old stained glass windows.

The outside of the Elise is off-putting and gives no indication of just how beautiful it is inside. The stained glass windows are extraordinary and the tourist information around the is excellent. We love it here.

Internally is a bit cold, recently visibly restored, but outside is really nice, worth to turn around to see it from different perspectives.

With the cathedral, Abby and Saint Peters in the same small area this ticket church gets overlooked but is worth looking at if you are passing by. The entrance is on the other side from the street. Don't be misled by the outside. Inside it has been cleaned and has a lovely atmosphere.
