At low tide you can walk for miles on this beach and even walk over to the Fort du Petit Be. We never went inside the fort but it looked impressive. The beach is really nice to walk on.

Wonderful sandy beach but beach police on quad bikes roar up and ban dogs. Tide is terrific and water comes in up to the wall.

Started in the centre and walked as far as we could. Scenary forever changing depending on the tides. Lovely in the evening

When my family visited St Malo in late September, it was a little too cold to lay out and do the “beach” thing. Instead we hiked and walked the beach, standing where hours later would be covered by the rising tides. The beach was amazingly...More

This is by far the most beautiful, easily accessible public beach I have ever seen. The huge tides are truly remarkable to witness. Today we joined locals in hunting for sea critters in the exceptionally low tide. Very relaxing and not at all crowded.

I walked from Saint Malo to La Plage Rochebonne twice during my stay, It's very clean along here, lots of people just walking or watching the sea, several nice places to have a tea or drink

A must see and experience through our the day. Including the various tides, it really happens a few times a day and you get to enjoy the beach where only couple hours ago or later is was fully rough and tide. #truebenji

Once again TripAdvisor is offering me extra points to review 'places that need more reviews.' I'm not sure what to say about this beach. It has beautiful sand. Next to the sand is water that is lovely to swim in. All jokes aside, it's a...More

It’s a wonderful beach, and so wide. Never overcrowded, and people are so well-behaved. Enjoyable at any time of day or evening - and beautiful sunsets. Many photo ops!
