I ran from Hotel des Thermes to the Rance river dam. I had to ask my way once in Saint Servan. But it's a beautiful place to run . On a Sunday it was not too crowded but it was really clean. At the harbor, after the salons beach, it starts agains behind L'escale bar and goes around the wooded... More

You can choose your distance, but try to walk for at least 5 km, it is an amazone experience. Absolutely stunning views! Being water with you and if you do not want to walk back, but take a bus, Remember there is no service on Sundays and bank holidays.

We picked the path up in Cancale, at Pointe des Crolles, overlooking the mussel beds. There is a free car park, at the end of Bld. Thiers, which is right in the path. We headed east towards Pointe de la Chaine, and there are some good views back to the port area as well as islands off the coast. The... More

Remarkable drive along the Brittant / Normandy coastline. We drove over from Mont St. Michel & caught the GR 34 & loved it. Picturesque sights & stops along the way. Drive it or walk it - you'll enjoy...

Great place for a stop over when travelling in your motorhome or caravan. Lots to do and plenty of WWII relics to see. Walled city is well worth a look

We caught the bus from St Malo to Cancale and walked part of the route towards Anse du Guesclin (we ran out of time to get back to catch the bus back so finished off walking along the road to Tanne) It was a beautiful up and down route on a lovely day. Most definitely need to remember to take... More

Have used the GR 34 many times and in various spots. A couple of years ago we walked from Dinard to St Malo for lunch and walked back. Since buying a property near the coast not far from Morlaix we walk quite a lot of it in the local area. Would reconmmend buying the walking map with the route on... More

we did the GR34 around Lanlup. Spend some time on the beack of bonaparte and find out where the name, or better, codename came from. The scenerie is great - take your time and enjoy. Not very crowded - zero restaurants, bring food!

My partner and I have walked different sections of this footpath on our various holidays in Saint-Malo. It goes around the entire Brittany coast and is well marked with the familiar red and white bands with which frequent hikers will be familiar. We are both senior citizens but find that we can walk between 5 to 8 mile stretches of... More

I walked along this route in several places in different parts of Brittany, and everywhere the route was great and full of majestic views. This is a photographer's heaven: after each turn you make you are awed with a new set of breathtaking views and grand photo opportunities. The path is quite easy for roaming with a photo camera and... More
