If you go through Pont-Aven you should stop and walk around the old town. It is quite picturesque. It is easy to walk, and really beautiful.

We spent a delightful mid-day here on our way to Concarneau. It was lovely. We couldn't park near the town center, but that made for a very pleasant walk. We can see why the area attracted painters.

This is a lovely town between Quimper and Vannes. It is noted for its many artists and art galleries. The artwork is great and we bought a lovely painting by a local artist.

Lovely little costal town in a beautiful part of France , great gallery’s and shops, lovely views along the side of the river and checking out the history of all the various water mills. Quaint little harbour

The riverside walks in Pond Aven are amazing, and the streets and galleries interesting. Far too many tourist trap shops selling rubbish for my liking however, but these are easy to avoid, just keep on walking past to the interesting bits.

The town is very cute with many little narrow streets. Especially the walk along the small stream is very nice. Unfortunatley it is badly crowded primarily when the market is there.

Lovely place for a wander around a coffee or a meal lovely river with lots of disused windmills and port area. Do the boardwalk the flora is lovely. Overpriced artist shops, but hey we all have to make a living....
