The Little Train in Concarneau did not have an English commentary, so they gave us a laminated sheet with the English version, it was not too difficult to follow and figure out which bit we were at, but was a pain to have to read it whilst trying to also see the view. It was a dreary day when we visited, and the train seemed a good option to keep the kids happy and see the town. For obvious reasons it doesn't go in to the old town, but you do get a nice tour around the coast. We kept the tickets and got a discount on the train in Benodet. I would say, if you have to pick one trip to do, the Benodet one was better, as the commentary had English as well as French, and the view was more scenic.

It was pouring with rain whilst we were in Concarneau. Whilst having lunch we spotted there was a Little Train. After lunch we walked in the Old Town and then took the Little Train. The driver very kindly wiped the seats for us and gave us the English translation of the recorded commentary. The train goes along the sea front and we learned many interesting things. Recommended. The train in Quimper is also very good.

Nothing special train ride, went through some back streets then up to the sea road, up and down that, then back to the main square. You get a laminated sheet to read about the buildings you are seeing. Could easily have walked this route instead, but it was a sit down for a while.

Probably the worst thing I've been on. Driver wouldn't accept cash and made me run to an office. He later accepted cash from another customer later on down the line. Train stopped on route and a guy jumped off as his wife was about to get off the driver drive off separating them, he clearly saw them in the mirror. Our child was crying and he put his hand to his lips to gesture the child to be quiet. Only heard this afterwards from my wife. don't waste your money as this guy has issues and should not be customer facing

ook a ride on this on a showery day and found the translations into english excellentso you can take the ticket and ride at a discount in Benodet on the other trains. The trip enabled us to see much more of the town than we would have if we had just walked around.

An easy way to get your bearings in this lovely town. Good commentary fills you in on most places. Keep your ticket for discounts on trains in Benodet and Quimper

We always try to get a sightseeing bus if we visit anywhere, as it tends to give you some idea of where everywhere is without wasting time trying to discover for yourself.
This train ride takes you round the part of Concarneau you would probably not visit as the main attractions are on the waterfront by the port.
Although you are given an English translation of what you are seeing, you can miss out on the interesting places as you try to read about them! A headphone service would be better.

Itinerary that allows you to discover Concarneau from a different angle than the closed city. The sound should be louder to cover traffic noise.

Follow the same route outward and return. So not very interesting.
Soft commentary and the sound is inaudible. I don't recommend it and I think there is a way to tell Concarneau in a more dynamic way
