Only 5 euro entrance fee. Very instructive exhibition with lots of full scale models of boats and fishing gear. The visit of the fish trawler outside is recommended. It is giving you a good idea how the fishermen were living. I could not find any...More

We visited the art museum in Pont Aven, and were told that we would get discounted entry (3 euros) to this museum if we kept our tickets. Very pleased we did, as this museum was fascinating with so much information about the history of fishing....More

Popped into Musée de la Pêche because it was raining and wanted to kill some time until the rain ended. Only five euro's to get in and was really great value. Musée de la Pêche is not large but was very interesting and kept 3...More

Come inside this reasonably priced museum which has boats and interesting displays. We particularly enjoyed the old trawler and the audio visual of a boat leaving port as if you were on board.

Much has been done to upgrade the museum and its exhibits and artefacts as well as the historic fishing boat, which you can walk through. Allow a good couple of hours for the visit - you need to accept the fact that French tourist traps...More

Housed on an old fishing boat in Concarneau harbour, this is an enterprising and engaging museum with a wealth of model ships to keep your interest. As Concarneau still has an active fishing fleet which lands a huge variety of fresh fish and shellfish nearly...More

We went here expecting to burn half an hour before lunch and left over a hour later. Almost all of the displays are in French, but with my basic grasp of the language and by the way they were presented, I could understand enough and...More
