Luckily the lady at the Tourist Office told us about this gem...I though that Vichy was only about water and Pétain...a crazily wonderful art-deco church...the first of it's kind that I've ever seen. Well worth a long lazy look on a sunny August afternoon.

Saint-Blaise church is an amazing piece of architecture from inside. Outside of the church is lot neglected though. We might even wonder if this is the same church or not. The details on the walls and the minute details captured on the roof & walls...More

Contrast between exterior and interior which is extraordinary and takes a while to look round and absorb all the details. Well worth a visit.

Don't let yourself stop visiting this extraordinary church. Spectacular art interior lighted by pushing the button on the right site of the entrance. The style is somewhere between art deco, Gaudi and Riviera

Gorgeous, wonderful, there are no other words to describe this church. Art deco style at its best. Some more light woul have not disturbed, but little dark is adding charm to this charmful chuch.

Built between the wars, this Church is a rare example of the tastes of the period. It is pretty much intact from the outside fairly ugly exterior to the startlingly excessive interior decorations that also include stain glass windows.

We visited the church a short while before it was locked up for the evening. There was a small service taking part in the chapel at the rear of the church, which was being led by the singing of several nuns, and it was a...More

You don't expect much when you see it from outside - a rather small church on the corner of a street of the Old Vichy. But wait till you see its interior: such a peaceful, intimate place, with interesting decorations and architectural details and really...More
