About

Source Celestine in Vichy, France. You get here and like any tourist you wanna take a pic or maybe a video and you get all these local people coming in and filling up their bottles with Vichy water straight from the tap! The nerve! @SourceCelestine

This is a great place to stop and see the water bubbling up from the ground, try it and be surprised at truly how bad the water tastes all for the sake of a "cure" - But well worth seeing it.

There are various types, all quite special and interesting in their own right. We visited during the pandemic so could not go inside much, alas.

An interesting way to spend 3 to 4 minutes of your time indoors; The parks around the building have more to offer than indoors. If you want to taste the water you need to bring your own cup or buy one from a machine.

You don't have to pay to taste the water but you should bring your own cup. If you want to taste all the waters you need a prescription.

Large building at top of a park in the main part of Vichy. Offers free slightly fizzy mineral water to the public from a tap. Medical waters on the other side, not open to the public. A little history about Vichy water on the wall. Worth a quick visit when in Vichy but not a lot to it.

We visited Vichy and we had high expectations. We were disappointed. It is a city in decline and the sources, although in the nicest part of the city near the park, are a sign of this decline. It is not worth a detour, but if you're there, go and visit them.

I always wanted to visit Vichy, because of the water connection and the palpable history. The beautifully restored Sources, park and gangway, met my expecetations.

Sources de Vichy is not a popular place among the locals as it is just any other place for them. It was a bit tough to find this place but the search did not disappoint us. This place gives us the information about all the varieties of water along with the mineral composition including the temperature. Its good to carry an empty water bottle. Do taste all the waters and we can notice the clear difference in the taste.
Warning: Don't drink too much of it as this is high in minerals and could impact us negatively.
