We are an officially licenced incoming tourist agency based in Lake Bled, Slovenia. We offer private transfers and custom made 1-day private tours to clients visiting Slovenia and some parts of Italy, Austria and Croatia. We operate a small fleet of luxury 8-seater minivans and all of our driver/guides are experienced, friendly and English speaking.

We were a group of 9 visiting Slovenia for 4 nights. We had already booked accomodation in Bled and Ljubljana and so were looking for transfers as well as the opportunity to add some trips. Graeme and his team really ensured that we made the most of our time suggesting the best itinerary for us including Postonja Caves and Predjama Castle. He provided us with helpful infomation as well as some good recommendations for places to eat. All the group thought that he provided a highly efficient service using very safe drivers and comfortable vehicles. All in all a great experince and good value for money we would definately use his services again!

We found Four Seasons Travel website when researching excursions for cruise ship passengers arriving in Koper. The website provided various options including the opportunity to group like minded travellers together to share the cost - our trip was arranged this way. We only had to express an interest in the trip, Graeme then liaised with us and others with the same interest. We shared our trip with 5 others from our ship - a minibus excursion to Ljubljana, Lake Bled (including Bled Castle) and the Vintgar Gorge with pick up from the port. From the outset it was obvious that Graeme & Helena run a very professional operation. Graeme emailed full details of the proposed excursion with options to tailor it to our own specification; and provided regular updates on the progression of the booking to all concerned, inspiring confidence which was important as we had not booked an independent excursion before.
On the day we arrived in Koper, Graeme & Helena were there to meet us on the dockside. They were both very friendly and welcoming. After introductions, the outline of the day was explained and we set off with Helena (Graeme was driving another party along a similar route so we kept meeting up, providing friendly competition between the 2 buses). Helena gave us a suburb insight into life in Slovenia with just the right amount of information to absorb and enjoy.
The schedule never seemed rushed despite the amount covered in a day, we even had free time at every location. Most importantly for a cruise excursion we were back at the port in good time for our departure with time to spare to look around Koper if we wanted.
We would not hesitate to recommend Graeme & Helena , book with them and you won't be disappointed.

We do not normally hire a tour company when we travel but decided to give it a try here since I did not want to drive and try to see something, which never works, at least for me. We hired Graeme based on the reviews and a bit of research and we are very glad we did. Since he has lived here over 20 years now he knows all the ins and outs of the area as well as the little facts and locations I would not have known about had I driven around ourselves. We hired Graeme for two full days of touring and thought it was very well worth the expense and would do it again without hesitation. It was also very handy to have a guide because we did not have to wait in lines, sometimes very long as guides have ahead of the line or priority when it comes to acquiring ticket, very handy.

Dear Bernie and June, thank you so much for your positive and kind feedback. It was sincerely a pleasure meeting you both, and being of service to you a week or so ago. I especially enjoyed sharing a few jokes with you and generally enjoying each others' company. Yes, it was indeed very busy on the road and at the various visitor attractions we visited. Dodging the high season traffic problems and navigating the lines at certain locations, such as the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle, was indeed quite a challenge. But we did okay I guess and I am very happy that you enjoyed our couple of days together too. Many thanks again and kind regards, Graeme.

Do not use ,we paid 350 euros for one day .
we booked a full day tour with stops and guide but did not get any of and no tickets were booked.
Or to actually see the places we had booked.
When we emailed and asked we were met with absolute denial from the owner and got no money back . 350 euros down the drain and a holiday ruined.

During a recent cruise we had a rather unusual port arrival and departure 3pm til 10pm with such a strange request we thought it may be difficult to satisfy our requests. That was absolutely not the case with Graeme we were met at the port clearly and easily right on time. The van was clean and well kept, for us an English speaking guide is always so much easier to listen to as in this case. We began out to the countryside with small talk and an idea of what we were interested in. During this trip we had already made wine visits in 3 other countries and it was quickly recognized that we enjoy our wine. Upon this revelation we made a quick impromptu stop for a local wine although not the best in the world it was amazing all the same being a homemade village table wine it gave us a good introduction to area. From here we stopped in the old village of Stangjel during our trip through the city we were approached by a local man selling hand made pictures without hesitation our guide jumped in to protect his guests which was a welcome sight although we then explained we enjoy collecting such items and he then helped us complete our purchase, few guides we have found will help shelter a client from such sales or panhandling, it was a refreshing sight. From here we went on to the real gem of the day ZorZ winery in Slap what an amazing experience fabulous wines an amazing tour given by the wineries very own Wine Queen!!!! All of this an back to the boat perfectly on time. Thank you for an amazing day.

It was sincerely a pleasure for me to introduce you to this "off the beaten path" region of Slovenia and to help you acquaint yourselves with the local vino. This was quite a different type of itinerary which I thoroughly enjoyed designing and employing on the day, with a bit of improvisation. This was a wonderful trip customized for us by Mr. Graeme Chuter. We only had one day and wanted to see both Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. This is a lot of ground to cover so if you can spare two days that would be ideal. Mr. Chuter is an excellent driver and took us to some amazing sights. I am a photographer and he stopped and pointed out the best places to photograph. Outstanding day for all of us.

We recently took a series of one-day tours with Four Seasons Travel in Slovenia and Croatia. Our experience with Graeme could not have been better. All our planning with Graeme was done ahead of time via emails. He had excellent suggestions and also was sensitive to our interests and preferences and customized the tours accordingly. In that correspondence, he was always very responsive and timely. Photography was a big part of our interest and he was wonderful about spending as long as was needed at any given place to accommodate the photography. Graeme is VERY knowledgeable about the area. We firmly believe that he saved us a tremendous amount of time because he knew exactly where he was going (every unmarked turn in every tiny town), where to park and how to get from place to place in the most expedient and scenic way. He is professional but also very personable. Giving him the "Excellent" 5-star rating doesn't begin to cover how great he was. You can't go wrong hiring Four Seasons Travel for your day tour needs in these areas. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Graeme for some fantastic experiences. We hope to see you again one day.

The guide collected us right on time and we had a fantastic tour in the well appointed mini-bus. The Slovenian history was brought to life and the time in the Ljubljana City Square was a highlight.

We had a wonderful day with Graeme as our guide. We made arrangements with him via email several months ahead of time. He was very easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. He gave us all the information we needed ahead of time to make a decision about the day's events. He also quoted a very fair and complete price. The planning phase was simple and the actual experience was excellent.
Graeme picked us up in Koper, Slovenia at the pier where our cruise ship docked. He was there at the agreed upon time, with a sign with our name so he was easy to find. He had parked close by as well. We were with another couple so there were four of us. The van was very comfortable and he is an excellent driver.
We went first to Ljubljana, the beautiful capital of Slovenia. Graeme gave a nice walking tour with time for photographs. From there we went to Lake Bled which was a highlight of our entire trip. Truly a spectacular place. He took us first to the castle above the lake and we had ample time there. He then took us to the lakeside resort area. He suggested a place to have tea and some local specialty cakes. It worked out perfectly and provided a nice ambient event on a beautiful afternoon. We had a bit of time to walk by the lake and then met Graeme back at the van for the drive back to the ship. We arrived back at the pier at the time we had requested, which was early enough so that we didn't feel any panic.
Graeme is a very charming traveling companion. He provided lots of interesting information about Slovenia and the region and was great about answering questions. We enjoyed our tour and our time with Graeme.
This is clearly the profession Graeme was meant to have. He is a natural. We would not hesitate to call upon him again when we are in this area. In fact, we might well plan a trip in this area specifically to utilize his skills and expertise. You can't go wrong using Graeme and Four Seasons Travel - Day Tours. It was just excellent in every way.

Our time in Slovenia was limited. We arrived at Piran by cruise ship and booked a private tour with Four Seasons Travel.
We outlined our requirements, some time in Ljubljana to see the main sites and also Lipica to see the famous horses.
We pre planned what we wanted to see in Ljubljana and Graeme and Helena came up with an itinerary.
Helena was our guide on the day and she looked after us very well and we felt safe under her guiding hand.
Many thank you's to them both and we wish them every success.
They can be whole heartily recommended
