This bit of the coast is beautiful, but the tide comes in really high. Luckily, the lifeguard station at the Grand Plage gives out tide table leaflets, so you can time your visit. Not really good for swimming, as it is the main surfing beach,...More

I go back every year. Love it. Beautiful scenery, lovely people, great waves. Great little coffee shop/bar at top of cliff by main road - good spot for watching waves and waiting for tide to go out.

Excellent, friendly (and good looking!) wait staff and good food. Lovely view over the ocean and at night it is just magical to watch the sun sink over the ocean sipping a cocktail or a glass of rose before tucking in to a well-prepared meal....More

Don't miss the Virgin statue! Breathtaking views especially on windy days with waves...caution as you may get wet

This is a very nice part of western coast. Great waves, nice sand, interesting city. It's great if you plan a romantic trip as well as a family trip. Many small restaurants with excellent french food. Go there! Sometimes in your life!

Try a drink from some of the bars And watch the sunset. During high tide the beach is tiny but at low tide its fine. The walk round to the grande plage is worth doing.

Good waves, cold water, beautiful scenery. An average European beach by a fantastic little city. Very friendly locals!

This beach is only available at low tide, but it a much better beach to walk than the beach in the centre of the town. At the lowest tides it is at least 100m wide and produces surf similar to the other beach

Sorry for the late response. It will be very hot during the day but hoodie kind of night. Bring a spring suit if you're surfing, might be too cold for boardshorts. Have fun!!!

Hi I was here 3 weeks ago. Locals were swimming in. 15C water. Or surfers in surf suites. It should definitely be warmer in August. In big, open beaches there are big waves (surfers' paradise), but amongst the many hidden... More
