Stroll along the front and depending on the tide and state of the sea enjoy watching the surfers or watching the waves put on a show. Le surfing provides the the food and drink stop.

This is the beach where most of the locals go to avoid the crowds at La Grande Plage - and its where many of the surfers and surf schools can be found. After recent renovations, the access is primarily pedestrian, but its a great walk...More

It is very nice to walk and look at sea and beaches below from the roadway / path. But at night with all the street and area lighting it looks surreal

For walking, for surfing... not too good for swiming but excelent for families. One handicap: swimers only can acced to the water in a narrow area, surfers are the "owners" of the rest...

You can walk along the coast of the Biarritz for about half mile or so, and everywhere is beautiful and dramatic. Amazing rock formations, surf, sunsets... beautiful.
